When you consider that there are 10 middleweights I can automatically think of (maybe others can think of more in short-order) who are unarguably deserving of a higher All-Time ranking, just one division in boxing, this chump's claim that Calzaghe should automatically be awarded a Top 50 spot due to his accomplishments against mostly poor to fair opposition in a division that has virtually no pedigree is mind-bogglingly ridiculous.

      ^^ LOL, that's better.

SMW is nearly 25 years old. Thats a significant chunk of Boxings 120 year history, and longer than the UFC has been in existence.

Joe belongs there because of his dominance of the division and his legendary wins over Eubank, ATG Jones and ATG Hopkins.

Marciano is the only fighter with a better overall record than Joe and most rank him in the top 15 P4P. If Marciano can get there without beating a single prime fighter, Joe should get in with his quality wins over prime Kessler and Prime Lacy on top of other accolades.

It's not as if the first two paragraphs of your post weren't laced with obtuse logic ("SMW is nearly 25 years old. Thats a significant chunk of Boxings 120 year history") and rank hyperbole ("legendary wins over Eubank, ATG Jones"), but that bit takes the cake on the WTF scale.

          WTF?

Joe Calzaghe is no where near top 50, those are elite fighters that should not be disgraced by mentioning his name and their names in the same sentence. Who'd he ever fight? Lacy, look at 'em now.... sweeping up hair in a barber shop. Lacy was raw and very accessable to any descent boxer, in my mind his over all skills seemed young but he was strong. Big Deal, Calzaghe is nowhere near the top 50............Rockin'
