I think he likes eastern European fighters. I Can remember him thinking the vitali fight was a robbery and at the post fight interview him saying that "his ancestors are probably spinning in their graves" or something in that sense, I haven't seen the fight in a LONG time, but I'm pretty sure I remember him saying that.

Its all got to do with history, the pogroms and the ww2. But thankfully Larry doesn't let this get in the way of what he feels for the Klitschkos. Or any other good East European boxer.
Larry Merchant seems to have a ***ish persona because he was raised in Brooklyn, NY where there was a high ***ish population during the time he was growing up. But he's not ***ish.

HBOs Ross Greenburg, Harold Lederman and Max Kellerman are ***ish, as are Showtime's Ken Hertzman, Steve Albert, Al Bernstein and Steve Farhood. Other ***ish media people in boxing include Mark Greenberg (EPIX president & CEO), William Dettloff, Eric Raskin, Benny Ricardo (Sephardic background), and Teddy Atlas.

Why are Ashke**** ***s hated so much by East Europeans?
Eastern Europeans, and today AGAIN, even Western Europeans hate ALL ***s, not only Ashke****. jealousy comes into it, religious hatred is the MAIN cause, in Ukraine today, where the Klitschkos are from, a recent poll showed that nearly 50% of the polulation was antisemitic, and ***s are already leaving there to come to Israel and the US. In all the Baltic countries the antisemitism is hottendous. In Malmo, Sweden, a major city, Al l the ***s have left, or are in the process of leaving. This all in the last year of two.

In France and Holland, normally two bastions of "freedom", the huge influx of Islamists is a big cause. Atrocities and murders of Rabbis and religious ***s (who dreee distinctively) are rising exponentially. These European countries NOW realise that they made a HUGE mistake in allowing themselves to be flooded with Islamists, who are trying to both terrorise and take over politically.

Well, what's done is done, they won't integrate, and some of these countries are already trying legally to at least reverse some of the damage. They are not succeeding.

Do you guys know, or even care, that OVER 60% of ALL UN resolutions are to do with ***s, who, I believe are about 2 tenths of ONE percent of the world's population. And the USA, long a friend to ***s and Israel, are going the same way in the UN.

Especially since ***** was elected. (I'm not meaning to be political here)

Yea, Larry really let Lennox have it and Lennox just *****ed out and got all emotionally defensive. "Look what I did to his face MON!" Tosser...

I really LOVED it how Larry wanted to get that sob to EAT his very bad words that he made about Vitali not having any skill or heart. Unfortunately, Lewis wasnt a man enough to admit he was wrong.

Thirty years ago, there were about twice as many ***s as ******s in Canada.

Now there are over three times as many ******s as ***s in this country.

According to the above article, the population of ******s in Canada will continue to rise rapidly.

One thing I always admired about ******s was their adhering to their religion, but these days they not only do this, but they transform their neighbourhoods (if they can) into little replicas of the lifestyles and intolerance they ran away from, nowadays forcing local governments to enact laws against some of their more visible habits.

It makes one wonder if they really just ran away from it (as they have every right to do) or are trying the slower, surer way of Islamicizing thr whole world a bit at a time, as so many of their religious and political leaders have been advocating and boasting about for the past 25 years or more.

i mean, if you look at the hundreds of trouble spots around the world, where some atrocious cruelties are perpetrated, (much about which we hear very little) you'll find that about 90% involve rabid Islamists committing terror, and trying to take over control and instal "SHARIA" law, which by the way amputates hands for theft, and executes publicly by stoning or beheading with a sword.

And the obscenities and atrocities against WOMEN,( who are basically just "property") are almost unbelievable. Many of these countries are "allies" of the US...........

Yes folks beautiful ways we're expecting.

Makes one wonder how our grandchildren are going to make out !!!

By the way, Freedom, I lived in Richmond just before I moved to Panama, and before that for about 12 years in Victoria, and before that about 20 years in Surrey, we called it East Surrey in those days, just past Whalley, had a home just at the junction of the Trans Canada and the King George highway.

Used to go to Blaine often, to listen and chat with Loretta Lynn when she and her brother Jimmy Webb had Loretta and her Trailblazers" at Bill's Tavern there. She sometimes would come in with a "black eye" and a story that she ran into a door. Her husband used to beat her up, she was married at 14 and then was about 18, a lovely girl.

Used to play myself at local weddings and in Legions and Army and Navy joints. Then afterwards head down to Blaine. those were the days, I can tell you..........

                Sorry for the history.

Yea, its all true, but how do you separate the good ******s from the bad?? Thats the problem. We KNOW there are bad ******s, too many today unfortunately. But WHAT can you do to neutralize those bad ******s and keep the good ones from following them? Im talking about the common people when I say good ******s, not people that are intelligent/educated/strong enough to distance themselves from the extremists effectively. There are too many good but poorer/less educated ******s stuck in between the hordes of the bad ones.

that's what I didn't understand, pre-fight boxers say all sorts of things to hype the fight, Lewis did acknowledge what Vitali brought to the fight but Merchant was still mad. Larry took sides, he's not really supposed to do that.

Because Lewis still didn't wanna give Vitali credit. He just said the least he coulda said, that he was good enough to COMPETE with him. What is that?!?
