Out of 37 fights, 19(more than half) are World title fights & out of those 19 he's ONLY lost 2!! He's been a World Champion in 2 weight classes!! He beat fighters like Hugo Cazarez(2 times), Rodel Mayor, Edagr Cardenas, Issac Bustos, Nelson Dieppa, Eduardo Marquez, Roberto Carlos Leyva who were ex-World champs & some became World champions after being defeated by Calderón & Cazares was a Champs before he fought Calderón(defended the title 6 times), he lost the World tilte to Calderón & became a World Champ after loosing to Calderón & has defended the title 5 times & is still the WBA 115lbs world champ... That right there is Calderón's & would be any other fighters ticket to the hall of fame!! Fighters with LESS credentials are already in the Hall of fame!!!

title fights dont mean jack **** if theyre not against top competition. fact is he only fought 3 fighters that were top ten at minimumweight, and none of them were the best in the division. He never fought Eagle Kyowa, Muhammad Rachman, or Yukuta Niida, did he? what happened to him unifying any belts?

Cazares is a pretty good win, Ill give him that. but in no way a 'great' win. much better fighters deserve to be in the HOF than Calderon.

Calderon definitely doesnt deserve to be in the HOF over someone like Iran Barkley...and Barkley most likely aint gettin in the HOF.
