JuanMa seems to put on a lot of weight between fights.

Virtually everyone agrees that Lopez is the "golden child," and that Gamboa has little fan-base. Why would Arum "protect" Yuri? Assuming JuanMa can beat Gamboa, there's nothing to lose if Yuri has no fan-base.
I agree that the statement is ridiculous but Juanma arguably does have the best resume at fw currently. If you set up a poll no doubt that it would be Juanma but you would have to factor the many posters on here who hate on all pr fighters and the fact that sometimes perception becomes reality and when you constantly hear that a fighter is a duck and fights no one without any knowledge behind it you start to belive it.

He avoided Caballero by fighting **** opponents. Sometimes you stick around weight to unify (see: Trinidad vs DLH, Segura vs Calderon for example).

Even at FW, Lopez ducked Caballero like the plague.Luevano was fine, but conception? Don't give me that garbage. Sure Caballero's stock has plummeted, but he was the most deserving of a fight with Lopez. Bob Arum claimed that he wasn't a big enough draw, but then he goes and fight

I'm rarely one who uses the term ducking, I understand the prospects of building fights, but there comes a point where certain fights need to happen. Lopez passed on one, he needs to fight Gamboa now. I'm not even saying he's ducking Gamboa, but they need to fight.

The problem is that he's willing to stick around for Marquez, but not for Gamboa. He should fight his last fight at 126 vs Gamboa.

They aren't going to make 3 million together regardless of what Bob Arum hopes for. They'll never be that, but they can get good ratings and get a million each probably. Not even Vazquez-Marquez made a million until their fourth fight.

You dont seem to understand that Arum could give a **** what hardcore boxing fans like us want and will make that fight when its at its financial peak. Neither man is ducking the other.

            Affirmative...it's called "propaganda."

I agree, JuanMa has the better resume. I also agree that there's a lot of mindless hate and equally mindless nuthugging around here.

This fight between Gamboa and Lopez needed to get made at 126. But I'll take it at 130. Just for the record, neither of these guys will be ready for 135for a while. Currently, they both get knocked off.

yeah, I prefer juanma unify at 126 before moving up. I think juanma think he'll have more advantage over gamboa at 130

I don't see Gamboa beating Juanma and the higher the weight the more advantage to Juanma. If Juanma can't make 126(which is obvious from pics that came out not too long ago) then so be it, up to 130. Problem is there is nobody at 130 and Juanma just cares about money, so I guess it will be Rafa again and then Gamboa and then up to 135

It's not going to reach a financial peak though. That's the thing, Arum is pricing himself out. When is the last time you heard 126 fighters make 1.5 million each? Im not sure the purses Pacquiao vs Morales/Barrera/Marquez, but I'm not positive for either of those.
