I know people like to slate Margarito all the time. But just imagine if Cotto had to fight the young version who beat guys like Diaz and Martinez. Cotto would get put in a pine box. Margarito was green too when he beat Sergio and I think he probably may have beaten Williams in that one fight if he wasn't so ring rusty even though he did duck the rematch numerous times.

Margarito overall has fought better fighters than Cotto has and all of his big wins have been won convincingly unlike Cotto who needs his Madison Square garden judges.

This is my opinion. Margarito have 3 things : Big heart , good chin and excellent stamina . How much left he got in tank? we don't know. Manny beat him bad plus the punishment he carry for Mosley and Cotto cause even when he beat Cotto he took some punishment in the fight. Big mistake for Margo is go straight to Cotto. He should take a tune-up fight first and how much he got left and gain some confidence back. I got some source that say Margo's right eye is not completely heal yet that why he's wearing glasses all the time. Cotto's left jab can ****ed up that right eye and orbital bone in 5 rounds if you don't believe me take a look of Mayorga's right eye . We all know Cotto is not the same anymore but I believe he still got enough to beat Margo. He got Emmanuel now and pretty sure he's been watching the tape of the first fight and he gonna build a good fight plan cause guess what ? Margo know only one way to fight . He doesn't know how to make adjustment he's just a pressure fighter . Cotto need to stay away from the ropes, keep the fight on the middle of the ring , clinch when he need to and watch the uppercut . He also move to much in the first fight plus the body shot and a broken nose make him run out of gas. He's stamina look real good in the last fight . I think not because I'm a Rican that Cotto have a lot of chance to beat Margo in a rematch .

Due to his once granite chin and styles alone, Margz beats Cotto 8 out of 10 times. However, fast forward to today - Margz tank is more depleted than Cotto's. The consecutive beatings Margz has taken have been without a doubt severe. I believe they will materialize in their upcoming bout and I see Cotto wining largely because of it.

This sounds like a pre-made excuse. Nothing indicates that Margs is "depleted" beyond Cotto. They have both been in some beatdowns lately. Marg's just won't be allowed to show up with his destroyer wraps this time around.

If he loses to Cotto, and the fight is competitive, which it will be, he'll have the trilogy in his back pocket next year or so. If he loses a tune up, the Cotto fight is done

PLaster or no plaster? We'll see. If he wins then I think he proves their was no plaster and kind of redeem's his whole entire career of the doubt. I mean Shane Mosley has a ****in chin. Never been stopped at this point so I can maybe see why they wanted to plaster up that time.

But if Cotto wins the doubters have even more fuel especially if he trashes Margarito. We'll see how Cotto reacts to the pressure and punches this time. I think Cotto's trashes him this time. This might be just what Cotto needs to revive his career fully. This would be HUGE for him.

Are you really confident that Ortiz is going to beat Berto? I don't know man. Would be really good to see Berto get beat from trying to take the easy way but I'm not sure I can cosign that one. I'm thinking about Berto fought to the very end against Collazo and Ortiz quit against Maidana.

The fact of the matter is; no one has to fight him. Pacquiao chose to give him that second chance in the limelight. Cotto doesn't have to fight him either.

He's back in the gym and in the ring, working harder than 99% of fighters out there, like it or not.

Despite the loss, Margarito looked great against Pacquiao. Garcias got him throwing a great jab. He's going to ice Cotto in the rematch.
