Liakhovich doesn't fight much like Adamek at all, neither does he bring to the ring the sorts of traits that Adamek possesses, namely speed, movement and quick blistering combinations. Liakhovich is ponderous, slowish and tends to throw single shots or one twos behind his pumping jab. Where Adamek avoids punches with his zippy footwork and lateral movement, Liakhovich just stands there hands up and absorbs the shots on the gloves (and chin). Vitali doesn't need to fight someone who's tough and hits hard, he needs to fight someone with movement and quickness.
Liakhovich at this point would be good preparation for Sam Sexton, not Adamek.
