guys just aren't scoring his side of the fight. only manny's (and including missed blows, at that).
Yeah, I noticed that. I noted in another thread that I was infuriated by HBO not paying attention or overblowing one thing while downplaying another. There's a moment in the fourth round where Bradley lands a jarring right hand counter eases Pacquiao up some. Don't think anyone even noticed.

    • The amount of revenue you generate at the gate is far more important than the # of asses you put in the seats. This fight is probably going to generate less $$$$$ than any fight Pacquiao has had since Clottey, at the gate and at the box office. BUT i can almost guarantee you that the amount of revenue generated at the gate probably exceeds the gate of the Klitschko's last 2 fights combined, by a few million.

Tickets for Klitschko fights are sold for peanuts compared to what Pacquiao (or Mayweather) tickets sell for on average.

Open scoring blows. I've seen it just wreck fights if a guy gets a lead. Mormeck-Bell II was classic for eight and then Mormeck ran like hell when he knew he had it in the bag as an example. want to see more fights turn out like ammy track meets...post scores. The fear of getting robbed can make fighters stay in the thick for 12. That's better.

        • This is not what Bradley did to win the fight.

This is about what Pacquaio did to lose the fight.

He did not aggressively fight in the first 2 minutes of many rounds, he only fought aggressively in the last 40 sec of each round.

You can't expect to win in Vegas by trying to steal rounds.

          • I just was away for 2 hours and I went through the whole thread and almost died from laughing. Some pple posted here who really know boxing and are honest, and others are simply clowns. Some guys said Zab Judah aint slick and Bradley aint slick either. LMAOOOOO. Judah is one of the slickest fighters of the last 10 years and so is Bradley.

And two broken feet, yet moved like nothing happened and even managed to climb the ropes after the announcement?
            I agree 100 %. I thought the same thing.

Totally agree. The kid wants to tell me I never saw Bradley fight when I call him slick LMAO. I seen lots of Bradley fights and he is very slick has excellent defence, brilliant handspeed and superb footwork. And on top of that he has a very high Ring IQ. Problem is that Pacquiao has the skills and handspeed to make Bradley look like an average fighter. And thats what happened.
You cant just watch the Pacquiao-Bradley fight and then say "Bradley never was sh't" just cause Pacquiao outclassed him for most of the fight.

sure buddy. that right there tells me that you are a complete joke and have zero boxing knowledge.

sure buddy. Bradley was always known as one of the best p4p fighters in the world and now suddenly Pacquiao takes him to school and you come around the corner and say Bradley never was elite? LOOOL

absolutely. Judah is one of the slickest fighters of the last decade and if someone cant see that I suggest he switches to another sport.

Bradley has always been a plod forward fighter with no power and poor movement, he just has a lot of heart and grit. I predicted he would get KO'd in the 8th and not win a round as he isn't very good and was moving up; He should have lost, but Manny didn't do anywhere near as good as I thought he would. He was being outboxed at times by Bradley.
LOOOOOL. good stuff. do u really believe your own sh'T?

i think it was very conscious on the part of hbo to overplay everything pac did and underplay tim. tim would land a right hand at a given point in the fight and lampley would scream "great right hand by pacquiao!" they didn't even replay any of tim's shots.

couple examples of how lame lampley was as a caller.

              • Ok on the night of the fight I had Pac winning by 3 rds..I really thought it was a clear win for Pac..I was trying not to listen to the commentary by HBO,but I won't lie it got to me and effected the way I scored the fight...Not to mention I had guest in my house..They were all telling me I was crazy for even giving Bradley the rds that I did...At the end I won't lie I was shocked..Like I said I had Pac winning by 3 rds the night of...

Now on my rewatch,I watch this fight on the TR feed the second time around(side note they were way better then the HBO crew)they were not as bias..I truly thought it was a great fight..That could be 7-5 either way,I gave the fight to Bradley on second watch..I just thought he did more in most of the rds..There were times were Pac would not do anything until 40 secs left in the rd..I have to say I can't give a fighter a rd who has taking off most of it and trys to steal it at the last sec...I will say Pac landed the more eye poping shots..Bradley worked more imo..I could see anyone having this fight 7-5 Pac or 7-5 Bradley or even 6-6 even..This was not a robbery or a blowout,it was a close fight that imo Bradley won...

                • Pac did fight or want to fight for 3 mins each round, but Bradley kept running away.
Isnt it a coincidence that bradley said Pac was vicious and punched hard, and all Pac could say of bradley is he has good footwork ie running away to prevent punches landing on him and being ko'ed.

                  • Pacquiao won the fight clearly. Bradley didn't DO anything successfully.

If Bradley isn't doing anything successfully at all (he wasn't even putting pressure on) and Pacquiao even if he took rounds off he was still the aggressor and still landing hard, crisper and more punches.

In a close fight I can see why someone would pick either the high volume fighter or the crisper, harder puncher. In this fight Pacquiao was the higher volume and crisper/harder puncher.

                    • pac still won round 5 imo..in fact i thought it was actually a big round for pac.
