The problem with your analysis is that you demand Manny to fight Floyd's opponents at the weights that Floyd fought them but fail to concede that Manny will never be as big as Floyd.

We can stop right there. Manny is basically the same size as Floyd. There is a 2" difference. Floyd, Mosley and Pacquiao are all just about the same size. If anyone is bigger than those men it would be Margarito, who Pacquiao had no problem fighting once Antonio got KTFO by Mosley.

If Floyd can do it, then Manny could do it. Hasn't that been the sales pitch all along for Manny at 147lbs? It isn't a matter of whether Pacquiao could have fought all of his WW opponents at their comfortable weights without any catchweights or weight stipulations. Its a matter of stacking the deck in his favor. If you recall, Pacquiao is supposedly a jrMW titlist.

Manny has never made 147 and has been giving away a few pounds at the scale whenever he fights at Welterweight.

You seem to forget that he bloated Marquez seven pounds and still came in 4 lbs over the agreed weight and he didn't make any attempt to lose any of it. Floyd did not bloat JMM up. JMM came up to challenge Floyd because Pacquiao wouldn't commit to a rematch. Floyd didn't stipulate that JMMdo anything. He doesn't have to do things like that.

He also fought Oscar at a lower catch weight since you like talking about those. Pacquiao and Floyd both do it and so have many in history. To call out one without calling out the other is just plain nuthuggery.

As for the Bradley fight, it will be a great win for Manny. Most impressive since Cotto and definitely the best fight that he could get outside of Floyd and JMM. Haters are already hedging right now by discrediting Bradley just incase Manny looks impressive.

Let me ask this: How was the Cotto win "great"?

Pacquiao asked for a catchweight even though he had made the division limit twice prior to fighting Cotto. Cotto, who had just won a vacant paper title from the lowly Michael Jennings, looked horrible against Clottey, who has never beaten a WW top 5 in his entire career. So how was the Cotto win "great"?

Was it because Cotto still had name recognition? It sure wasn't because Cotto looked like a force to be reckoned with since being smashed by Margarito.

So please explain why it was so "great" .. because it seemed more like opportunistic. Actually, the FACT that Pacquiao targeted most of his WW opposition coming off huge career losses seems opportunistic.
