arum mismanaged so much of donaire's career, then he offers him the same money as last fight for his next fight?

probably rachel was tired of her husband getting ****** by an old man.

I'm hoping Hasagawa still has the goods once Donaire moves up, that would be a pretty good scrap.

gbp for sure offered more money... but doanire and his team dont realize that hed make more in the future with tr than gbp

      very bad move imo

Its most likely just a money move.

He goes to Golden Boy and he is one of there poster childs and makes more money. Especially at a time where GB is getting desperate for more stars.

I think he tried jumping over to Golden Boy because Top Rank did close to nothing when they had him. They had him facing Raul Martinez, Manuel Vargas, and Rafael Concepcion on PPV when he could of been building his legacy. Top Rank wasted about 2-3 years of Donaires prime before they put him on against Sydorenko and Montiel.

He DIDN'T leave Top Rank, he THOUGHT he did (or had). His original contract does NOT expire until June 25th. Top Rank have an OPTION to extend it for another year. Then there is the extension caused by his 2 medical suspensions of 6 months each, so I'm pretty sure that Arum is absolutely correct when he says his contract is until at least early June 2013.

This is all the usual crap with fighters. Arum and other promoters get this sort of thing ALL THE TIME. They DEAL with it. Part of the business.
