Can you imagine the first time Gamboa dropped his hands to taunt one of those guys? He's fast enough to hang with them but they all KO him eventually.

Lopez is not spectacular enough in any one area to really keep him close to three fighters of that caliber. They all KO him around the same time as Gamboa but with the scorecards a lot wider.
