Wasn't you one of them that was saying Haye would duck Wlad and fight Chagaev instead? Oh, and that he didn't have to fight his mandatory? This proves he would have had to fight his mandatory, but got lucky because his mandatory was infected.

Haye just wants to cash out against Wladimir, not risk his chance at a huge payday by possibly losing to Chagaev.

he would crush chagaev...IMO i just watched all chags fights a month ago & he is done as a major threat & he cant get sanction anywhere outside germany.he was considered to fight povetkin for the regular title but the WBA is talking #2 povetkin vs #3 mormeck instead in paris or moskow...sounds like he cant get sanctioned anywhere but germany.hes failed multiple tests not just one from what i understand...he's done! he will get some step aside money & he should take it because he may never get another big payday...

Chagaev was no threat to Wlad in their first fight, and now it would be pathetic. If that fight with Walker had gone 12 rounds I honestly believe Travis would have had his ass out of there, and Travis is shot to **** as well.

Universum is just pushing him into this **** so they can both get another Klitschko payday. You could see it in his conditioning and performance against Walker that he doesn't have the desire to fight any more.

As for the lawsuit: It's just talk. Haye can say Chagaev didn't get the fight because the he didn't think Chagaev was going to be allowed to fight in Britain.

Do you really believe Chagaev would be a live opponent? He looked terrible in his last fight. Haye would have fought him if he was cleared, we all knew that was unlikely but still he had a TV date scheduled just incase. The boxing world gets a fight they want to see instead of a one sided demolition that would have happened. Chagaev should just retire he's finished.

Well considering that Chagaev pretty easily decisioned Valuev and Haye struggled somewhat, I'd definetely consider him a live opponent and in any case a huge upgrade compared to Audley.

Problem with Chagaev was IMO never the medical aspect, but rather the risk/reward ratio. Haye would jeopardize his mega payday against a klit and hence would do anything to avoid real threats untill then.

He won an official WBA eliminator. That makes him deserving in alphabet terms and that's why the WBA will be sued.
