That's because he wasn't as reckless as Gamboa.

cant wait for the yg vs jml match up !

as of right now, i see gambo winning in the first couple rounds; just bc he is so overwhelming with his speed, power, reflexes and experience.

dont get me wrong, i love watching jml but he just isnt strong enough, imo. i believe he could get off some beautiful counters against gamboa, but then yg would retaliate. and jml feet arent as quick as gamboa's, and even with his block up, i think gamboa would do damage, not only physically, but mentally, as well. since gamboa's punches seem to be so unexpectingly hard.

so like i said, if i had to bet, i would bet on a early ko by gamboa; HOWEVER, if jml is on point with his counter shots and head/torso movement, and he brings the fight past the 6th... the outcome becomes more geared toward jml, imo

I agree to an extent, no one had Roy's style though.

Gamboa most definitely deserves to be mentioned with the likes of Jones, Meldrick Taylor, SRL, etc. in terms of raw talent. I think he's got fight in him too. We'll see when he starts to fight better competition.

Time to find new boxing news source.

To compare Gamboa to the likes of RJJ.... please. The guy is good but be real, let him proves himself first.

What a bunch of sensationalists. Hey did you hear, Gamboa's farts sound like the ones from Jones too!!! P4P all the way baby!!.
