Vitali's punches are notorious for causing ligament damage

Solis would totally dominate every other heavyweight ever to fight, can't stress this enough

Vitali is the greatest fighter ever, there is no blueprint to beat him, he would dominate in every era. Highest KO percentage ever.

"I know he is a gentleman and everybody wants to see a second fight" - Vitali Klitschko

“You talk about me, I am chicken to fight you. That's not true. I bring you dessert on November 12th.” - Vitali Klitschko

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That's the ONLY thing you got right despite trying to make it look like you're exaggerating. The blueprint is to PRAY for some type of debilitatting injury that makes it into a fair fight till the bout ends in A well earned & deserved TKO for the other fighter.

Since Vitali came back, his opponents have been worse than Haye's. Briggs was knocked out by Lewis over 10 years ago, Sosnowski... what a joke. Audley woulda beat both of them lol.
Vitali would carry his left hand lowe against King Kong & he would still NOT get ktfo.. You think he's concerned if someone comes in on him... he's telling you to TRY do it... He trusts his reflexes & has his right hand ****ed & loaded..ready to hit you...that's if the left hand..which is already half way to being delivered to you doesn't make it to your face in time.
Do NOT be fooled by the left hand being low... this his fighting stance for 80% of an entire fight.
Funny how no one seems to take advantage of this & even if they do..punches bounce off of Vitali's face. Everyone says he's slowing down..his reflexes are not as sharp as they once were. When has Vitali EVER been fast on his feet or fleetfooted. He's got immaculate footwork but he's not fast on his feet.. He's fast on his punches & his timing is as sharp as ever.

Solis won perhaps half the rd at best & that was in the beginning when Klitschko was feeling him out. This Solis DUDE is super fast...the first right counter he landed.. Klitschko didn't even know what hit him..it would've stunned most any other fighter...it didn't do anything to Klitschko as he just kept coming forward. Solis had a couple of good flurries that Klitschko either blocked & didn't land cleanly.

It looked good though as SOLIS was in and out like a cobra.. The last 30 seconds is when Klitschko took over.. he backed him up against the ropes & Solis was getting a little nervous trying to avoid the punches right on the ropes.... 10 seconds left & lets give Vitali credit here.. he had adjusted to Solis QUICK lunges.. he missed baDLY.... put himself in an awkward position for Vitali to counter him..lost his footing a bit but NOT to the point where both legs were going to give out.

When he got punched with that supposed soft blow..he was somewhat out of position to begin with because of his wild swings that hit nothing but air..the blow from the punch caused his whole body to shake & therefore his legs went in opposite directions as he was going down.

The coincidence here is Solis being somewhat off balance exactly when Vitali hit him....the force from the shot caused EVERYTHING that happened to Solis legs on the way down. This was no bs injury prior as he tried the same exact lunges on Vitali earlier in the rd & NOTHING happened to his knees or his balance>>> that's because he had connected..albeit with no effect on Vitali..

This time he missed by a mile..it's his own damn fault... has Nothing to do with the weight he came in at.. he would've been off balance at 200 lbs or 270 lbs swinging at Vitali....in which he had to reach to get at him.. Those are just BS excuses that HAVE no basis in fact whatsoever..

His weight had NOTHING to do with his leg injury. His futile hit or miss swing towards Vitali had EVERYTHING to do with it. It created his misstep..ofcourse Vitali's D won;t get an assist for the knockout but that's what caused the knockout. Vitali finished off the process by touching him up on top of his head in a sensitive area..doesn't matter where..ttemple shot or not. Vitali took advantage of Solis being out of position & landed the blow that would end the fight. Vitali's defense & Solis' inept offensive try set it all up. Vitali's boxing skills caused the knockout..his defense & then perfect shot to put SOLIS down is what was at heart of what happened. Solis would've NEVER had anything of the sort happen to his legs had Vitali not countered with the perfect shot that made him fall all wrong.

That was the first round i have seen Vitaly lose in a long time. The fight ended too early to make a judgement on where Vitaly is right now though

Your deluded. Klitschko attacked all the time, Solis made a few little counters which mostly didn't lnad. Klitschko was winning the round.

Again....delusional. As well as being anti Klitschko, whereas I am just an acute observer with NO favourites since Gaspar Ortega, except perhaps Emmanuel Augustus.

I often get so sick of alll the ignorant and obscene DREK posted here that I go off line for days and weeks sometimes and wonder why I still retain my interest in boxing.
Disclaimer: I am in no way a hater of this Klitschko or his brother, they are by far the best heavyweights out there. I am no way saying that Solis would have won that fight or even a rematch.

Now on to edgarg's dumb post

wow you threaten to go away when you disagree with someone, I simply said it looked to me, I acknowledge that it was one very short round, that Klitschko appeared to fight a guy who looked to be effective in what he was doing. Klitschko looked to be not in full control, I think that says something since Vitali has basically not even come close to losing a round in how long? Relax and disagree if you like but no need for insults.

The judgement you could make is that his reflexes are as sharp as ever. He felt just how fast & quick Solis is..realized if he can make him come in ..it will leave an opening for him to counter. Solis high guard defense was very good. Didn't serve him well on the way back trying to retreat after he swung badly at him. His glove was almost there as he did realize the punch was coming..he just couldn't defend it in time as he was more concerned with backing up after he had missed. If this sequence didn't happen in the first rd.would've happened later everytime Solis came in unsuccessfully. That rd showed that Vitali Klitschko is intact. Solis was never outsmarted in this fashion..pros or amateur.. never been down as well. I told everyone he was going to make a statement out of him.... Also you can go back to his last fight as he utterly DESTROYED a former champion.. administered the beating of his life. Instead of giving him credit for creating this type of havoc on his opponents. we tear down his opponents as unworthy. Guys.. Solis did NOT do this to himself..... Vitali was all up in his vicinity & created the entire TKO with his defense & offensive firepower. Another opponent that Vitali annihilates that has never had anything of the sort happened to them.

                Rematch?

I don't think people understand the severity of Solis's injuries...he'll be out...for a long time.

Being that he's a big guy, it'll be a long time before he gets his weight back down

                I give him 1-2 years
