I don't think many would respect that welterweight win since it was at a catchweight of 145, but he's definitely a legit welterweight champ now, whether you like his opponents or not.

what I'm saying is Manny was cherry picking and fighting the weakest title holders for a one and done.

case in point Mosley was the Man at welterweight but Manny fought Cotto instead and asked for a handicap..
You must be blind not to see that Cotto was a legit contender at welterweight, especially with only one loss and beating Mosley. Plus, he was in Top Rank, so his chances to fight Manny was higher.

Mosley was the number one WW and was looking like the MAN at that division and at that point Cotto was on a down slide and was looking suspect Clottey fought him to a draw. on top of that Manny asked for a catchweight against a damaged guy.

so yes it was a cherry pick fight

Stay 130 and become undisputed to impress a FEWER people.

          OR

Fight Oscar Dela Hoya/Ricky Hatton/Miguel Cotto for 10x the cash, popularity, and more fans?

Your fking ****** if you think staying at 130lbs will be the best buisness move.

So if Manny doesn't fight the #1 welterweight, everyone else is a cherry pick?

                All right then.
