yea this is a 50-50 fight...like Montiel/Donaire . Gamboa must rid himself of bad habits before he fights Juanma though

I think Gamboa has the speed and offensive arsenal to give JuanMa hell.

But if JuanMa rocks him with a right hook or a big straight left early, it can change completely the way Gamboa fights in this one.

I hope this puppy gets made man.

Neither guy can make much fighting anyone else at this point.

        What about Mtagwa?

        Styles make fights.

Lopez doesnt have the style to finish a guy like Mtagwa the way gamboa did.

Mtagwa was very awkward and very unorthodox.

I do think Lopez has the style to finish Salido faster than gamboa did.

But that doesnt mean ****. Does it??

at the end the styles that matter are Lopez's and gamboa's.

Gamboa looked really good & strong & just overwhelmed Solis with speed & power & pummeled him..Solis never saw the shots coming.. But I still think that going down to 126lbs from 130lbs, where Solis has been fighting at for the past year affected him, he looked weaker & more stable than in past fights.. Solis didn't look anything like when he beat Cordero, Mario Santiago & Likar Ramos were he had more movement, better reflexes, better defense & looked stronger.. & I'm not trying to minimize Gamboa's victory, I'm just commenting on what I saw..It was Solis's choice to go down & challenge Gamboa & got LIT UP!! Gamboa just did his job & did real GOOD!!..

Juanma & Solis are 2 defferent fighters & right now Juanma is a natural strong 126 pounder & has 2 hammers for fists..& u can't let yourself go by what Gamboa did to Solis, compared to what he would do to Juanma.. But 1st lets see how Juanma does against Salido..Juanma has to beat Salido first before he even gets to Gamboa.. Salido already fought Gamboa & took Gamboa the full distance & in that fight Gamboa didn't look impressive at all.. Salido is a DIFFERENT fighter than Gamboa, he has TOTALLY A DIFFERENT style..So NO matter how Juanma looke against Salido, if he beats Salido, that won't determined how he'll do against Gamboa.. If Juanma gets past Salido,(which he should, but this is boxing & things could easily turn around in a second) a fight between Gamboa & Juanma is gonna be an interesting one..Just hope SCUMBAG Bob Arum makes it happen next & stop's MILKING these 2 fighters!!!

I can definitely see Gamboa tagging Juanma with ease.....like I said maybe I am jumping the gun but damn....he made Solis look like that was his debut last night!!! Just saying...
Totally agree! I was there last night, Gamboa is amazing... He's got even faster hands than Paqiauo and his footwork is also just as good... I think he stops JuanMa!

Solis didn't look good at all. He actually looked frightened. Every time Gamboa charged him, Jorge shrank. As you say, it doesn't really diminish Yuri's win. Gamboa tore through a good quality fighter in devastating fashion. Something has to be said for that.

I expect JuanMa to handle Salido. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the fight ends with Salido on his back. It really doesn't prove any more than Gamboa's demolition of Mtagwa. The only thing it'll do is increase the clamor for a Lopez-Gamboa showdown.

                      I can't wait....
