Yeah,I was thinking the same thing.Pirog's team & Pacmans lovechildren need to stop with that Martinez ducking Pirog crap.He isn't seasoned enough to **** with Martinez.I wish I was an advisor though,I'd tell Martinez to train hard & make short work of him in about 4 month's take a stranglehold on the pfp spot then go down to 154 & take a belt from someone then call out the 2 top fighters in boxing once more.

The problem with this line of thinking is this:

Sergio was Vernon Forrest mandatory for over a year or so.
The same line of thinking was applied to Sergio as Martinez hadn't fought anyone.

Alot of it was Vernon having a shoulder injury but at the same time it wasn't too long ago that Martinez was on the other side of the stick, having beat no one good and his only significant fight was a TKO stoppage to Margarito.

You guys bash Manny and Floyd fans because they say there is no point in facing a guy because they would win anyways, only to pull the same thing when it comes to Martinez and Pirog.

I think Martinez will win but Pirog is a great fighter, has a belt in Martinez division, so their is no reason this shouldn't happen. FWIW I think Golovkin is really the 2nd best MW and will give Martinez the hardest fight.

Not to go on a long spill, but Taylor had a weak resume and was being hyped, but you know what.....he went on to beat ATG, and IMO the second greatest MW of all-time Bernard Hopkins not once but twice.

Both Martinez and he fans are hypocrite and need to remember how no one wanted to give Sergio his shot, and how you pseudo fans of his use to bash other fans for the same excuse u guys are making right now for Sergio.

Doesn't matter if this fight happens. The Stans will want no part of Martinez. He'll go from ducking Pirog, to having requests of him moving up 2 weight classes instead of fighting certain posters heroes

I want this fight to happen for this precise reason, to extinguish the hate coming from people that say Sergio is ducking guys.....like he was allegedly ducking the Williams rematch....we saw what happened there too. It comes with the territory though, when you are successful people are always intimidated by you.
