Ive watched that fight so many times.. If Cotto would have Clinched instead of hanging out in the ropes he would have won easily.

it's hard to clinch someone who's stronger than you. Cotto tried just couldn't do it. There was times when cotto was hurt and tried to clinch only to have margarito push him off and continue to pummel him.

Yup, Cotto is EASILY the better boxer and could've/should've won comfortably but that's what happens when you have amateurs in your corner and they give you a terrible game plan or none at all. I think Cotto and Steward need to work on clinching and staying off the ropes/lateral movement in camp and Miguel will get a surprisingly (to some) easy victory in July.

I defenately agree wit you.. Everyone keeps talking how Margo gave Cotto the beat of his life!! Ofcourse!!! Let me hit someone with a cast see how long they gonna last!! And Cotto didnt try clinching when he needed to.. He might have tried when he was already beat up from getting rocked with a f##### cast and he was already tired..

And by the way.. I guess u havent seen margos hand wraps when he got done with Cotto.. Ive never seen hand wraps cut open like that in my whole life.. That must have been a big f#### cast he had on to cut open his hand wraps.... But its hard to admit the truth.. margo just sucks hands down, if he had confidence in himself and his as good as he sais.. Why cheat??? I dont think his wraps were sabotage idiot..
