I like Johnson's chances. I believe he will capitalize on Froch's louzy defense.

And LOL at Froch's comments. Bute would horribly embarrass him.
You got it put ya in my bet book...

I would ask you to consider that it was Froch's virtuoso performance that made Abraham look as bad as he did not Abraham's lack of effort ability.
I did not see the Abraham-Taylor fight. With that said the only two fights I have seen him fight were against Dirrell and Froch. And for 23 rounds he did absolutely nothing but score one knock down. I ask you what kind of opinion was I suppose to form? If I felt like Arthur even tried I may feel differently about it but he looked absolutely horrible and he made a very bad first and second impression. But, in all fairness to Froch he did move well and looked much better then I had seen previously. However, I think your last sentence can be switched and it was Abraham's lack of effort that made Froch look like a world class boxer when I personally believe he is much closer to a brawler. Oh, and by the way. I truly believe that the Dirrell-Froch fight was one of the worst decisions that I have seen in my life time. And I am in no way, shape or form close to being a Dirrell fan. But he got robbed big time.

Froch is right on this one. Bute hasn't fought anybody.

It's easy to look skillful against the Jesse Brinkleys of the world.

Froch is 100% right while Froch has been going life and death with the top fighters at SMW in the super six. Bute has been dining on tomato can after tomato can. I don't know how Bute can be ranked anywhere in the top 3 in the div.

              Who does Carl Froch fight?

The best of the best only. No tune-ups, no excuses, no fear.

How often is Carl Froch in a good fight?

Virtually every fight, with the Dirrell fight the notable exception. Froch-Pascal was a slugfest classic, Froch-Taylor was a dramatic come-from-behind last round knockout, Froch-Kessler was a highly competitive boxing match that occasionally became a brawl.

Froch is the dream fighter in terms of value.

Like I have said before Froch needs to focus on Glen Johnson and keep his.mouth shut about other fighters. I got one of those feelings Johnson will get robbed again
7-4 is not that huge of a lead, and one of the unofficial judges even had Froch ahead slightly. Championship fights are for full 12 rounds, not until the middle rounds. Taylor was also doing good in the Pavik rematch before he faded. If Taylor had stamina he probably would have been unbeaten right now but its something that he never had. If you are ranking fighters only based on talent, why not rate Berto or Direll number 1 pound for pound? Froch has fought the who's who of super middleweight and only has one lost, i think he deserves to be number 2 behind Ward. Bute is only rated so high because he has a title, Froch by far has beaten the better opposition.

Bute is terrified of Froch I bet.

At middleweight Abraham was very strong and dominant. I cant say I ever cared much for his style but it got him world titles and they dont give them away for nothing. He would normally always lose the first 3 to 4 rounds by just walking down his opponent with the high guard, have a look and absorb punches and not throw much in return. Then in the middle rounds **** he would unleash hard combos and power punch guys out of there.
He is the least natural at the weight and that tactic just hasn't been enough for the heavier, taller, rangier guys like Froch and Dirrell who are natural career SMW's. They both made him look average like most of his other MW opponents have done in the early rounds except they could keep it up for 12 rounds and never allow him into the fight. Of the two though Froch did the more complete job on him.
Froch is a world bronze medalist, he is a world class boxer and a world champion. Yes he has been brawling as a pro far to much for his trainers liking but he has a macho streak and the crowd love a tear up as much as he does. For 12 rounds against Abraham I saw him show the disciplined boxing he was always capable of but to rarely used.
Now I'm not making excuses for Abraham and I can understand your impressions of him. But it is easy to get carried away when one great boxer makes another great boxer look average and say things like I could have beat him myself (sarcastically offcourse) but by doing so it detracts from the reality that they are still both great and deserve respect.
