its funny, you can pick apart pac's resume all you want... but most level-headed fans recognize that hatton & cotto were legit p4p performances... and NOBODY pac fights will be good enough because it ISNT floyd. thats the truth... clottey & margs were stay-busy fights because there were no other logical choices... arum wont drop $$$ for manny to fight a 140lb prospect... i dont think any promotor will will do that.... you dont see dibella setting up pirog/martinez either.... now martinez emerges, but logically 148lb manny cant take on 160lb martinez... not gonna happen. we all know arum bought that "8th division" for pac so lets not act like pac can legitimately fight @ 154.

martinez is #2 & will be #1 soon. he deserves it. but it looks like he will be fighting bums next... i doubt sergio will step up to 168... a victory over angulo & kirkland would help his case... but i dont think anyone considers angulo & kirkland "elite" yet.

BTW. i HOPE angulo & kirkland get some action.

I never said Hatton and Cotto wasn't good wins. Hatton was the top fighter at 140 and the Cotto win could have been better for Pac if it was at 147 not 145. I'm not the one saying Pac opponents are shabby. Just check boxing analyst and journalists and they can tell you that. Matter a fact. Check out my sig. Floyd had some easy fights along the way but atleast he fought all of his title fights without catchweights.

I am not a boxing genius and never said that. I'm glad that you are happy that you found a video proving me wrong. Hooray for you. At the end of the day tho....... Floyd is not under any promotional company unlike Manny. Arum talks for Pac and Pac said that himself. So trying to tell me to wait for Manny to say it, is BS because Arum is the mouth piece. I believe Floyd tried to brush Shane off. All in all, Shane got what he asked for. Arum ain't letting NO THREATS next to Manny at all, including Shane in 09. So Mayweather Sr hasn't spoken to Mayweather Jr in a long time. Mayweather Jr, Ellerbe, or Haymon or even Schafer or Ross Greenburg have said anything about Floyd Jr saying he wants $100Mill. If Floyd/Haymon/Ellerbe say it, then i'll believe it.

Arum/Roger saying isn't proof that it's what Jr wants.

The only time the $100 million number came up before this was when Don King stated "If I were promoting Mayweather, I would get him $100 for the Pacquiao fight!" Which was a dig at GBP and Don was trying persuade Floyd Jr to become the promoter for Mayweather's next fight(s). So, Arum, now acting chummy with King, may be just reiterating what King stated. But again, you don't know because you never know if Arum is telling the truth or lying. I read this yesterday on Ring TV and was surprised it took a full day to make it here.

I show you indisputable proof and you still stick to your BS. I respect your tenaciousness, but any respect you may have had as a "knowledgeable fan" went out the window a long time ago. At this point, you just seem like a groupie fan who will defend Floyd till death. C'mon Grust, Arum is all about Arum. You know it, I know it and 99% of the people here know BOB ARUM HAS AN AGENDA! He's very fortunate to have a world class champion like Manny who says "Whatever you say Boss". It's not neccessarily smart of Pacquiao, but that's his choice. He says he'll fight anyone his promoter puts in front of him, but unfortunately the "choices" Bob gives him to choose from is usually a list that Pac should choose "None of the above", AND Bob is most definately about "what will make BOB the most money. I've said many times that it's too bad Manny doesn't have more trustworthy people around him. Koncz, his closest advisor, is the type of guy that would read a weeks worth of paper articles stating how the public is bashing Pacquiao for his choice in opponents - and turn around and tell Manny "Everything's great Manny. People can't wait to see you fight Shane Mosely!". He would be better off having Buboy as his personal advisor then a snake like Koncz IMO, but that's Mannys choice not ours and he'll have to live with that. Pac goes on 24/7 and tells the world that he will take whatever tests, whenever and Koncz says Manny said 7 days. But in this case, the Pac naysayers choose to believe Koncz over the words from Pacs mouth. Why is that? Nevermind, don't answer that because I don't want to get in to that whole debate. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want to believe. The whole point was that you fight tooth and nail to argue this and that about Pacquiao by posting quotes from everyone BUT Pacquiao, but when it comes to Floyd Jr you won't trust what his Dad or anyone else says unless it comes from Floyd himself. You, yourself admit that Bob Arum is a scum bag but pick and choose the points you want to prove by quoting the man himself as if it is the gospel truth. I'm just saying that it makes the bias unavoidably obvious. Everyone knows Pacquiao is not outspoken and Floyd is very outspoken. IMO, it's all the more reason to pay attention to what Manny says when he says so little, whereas Floyd spouts stuff off all the time but you can only take half of what he says seriously. I think you got me confused with yourself. Manny Pacquiao and his team has done and said the most unbelievable things since being on top and Pac fans still eat it up. Even with proof. They still don't believe it. That is a real groupie fan. Atleast I can say Floyd is not P4P#1. I can also say that Sergio Martinez would be my favourite going into a possible fight between the two. I don't think a Pac fan can ever say that or have another favorite fighter because according to them. You have to stick with one fighter or else your a bandwagoner? That is not how boxing goes. I think the "too small" excuse was just a cop out for Pac fans, so they wouldn't have to say that Martinez beats him. The best get respect. ESPN and Ring magazine are praising Martinez for his wins over his opponents and even Sergei but Pac fans will criticize and say that Sergei is a bum to make Martinez win over him suspect when in actuality. The whole sport of boxing is saying Dizinzuruk was a good win. Pac fans discredit every fighter and everyone who has something to say about Pac that doesn't agree with how they feel about Pac.
