Why didnt the Prince train for Barrera?

Is the guy nuts or what? surely he couldnt of been THAT overconfident surely? On that programme or documentary thing that was on channel four here in UK, u can see the Prince wasnt taking Barrera seriously one little bit & it was as if he knew 100% that Barrera would be KOd no probs. Emanuel stewards said he only worked with the Prince five days before Barrera & that the Prince refused to do any sparring,

but i just cant understand it, Barrera was better than any he had fought previousy, look at his record. and when they were rivals at superbantamweight the Prince didnt exactly push for that fight, i really cant work out y he didnt train for this fight, he hardly trained at all ffs.

Even if had trained for Barrera (he did, this just sounds like an excuse)....his ridiculous style & reliance on a one-punch KO would have cost him the fight.

Its a great shame. He is one of my idols nevertheless. I think he was more worried about his hair than his training. And i heard he only just about made weight for that fight. Even then he didnt do THAT badly. By his standards he did. But by anyone else's standards his performance was a little above average against someone of Barrera's class if you ask me.

I disagree. And it wasnt an excuse. He actually did not train. Otherwise why would Manny react the way he did. And why would the prince perform that bad?
