Notice how so many of Pacquiao's opponents don't want to get into exchanges but end up doing so anyway? Anyone ever think Pacquiao himself might be responsible for that?

No, it's because Cotto fought ******.

So Cotto's pretty much saying he will just run away from Manny if they fight again.

He had and has no choice in the matter. Pac always starts alittle slow the first few rounds. How can he no be drawn into a firefight
with pacq? When pacs getin in and out and light you up with blazing speed and footwork. You can either do a (clottey) or you can do a (marg).

Pretty much.. the rest of the fight after that Cotto was hesitant to exchange at all and in retreat mode along with getting buzzed a few times more.

The first video highlights exactly why some people feel like a fight with Floyd is a bad matchup for Manny. From round 1 to 12 his gameplan stayed the same. When his opponent shoots a jab, he shoots a straight left. He even did it in the Oscar fight. Now when/if he faces Floyd, what is he gonna do when someone actually feints him and force him to commit over and over with his straight left? Or if Floyd goes into his high guard defense where his body is more squared and he fires both hands without being telegraphed (ala the Zab fight) and Pac can't time when to throw his lead left? A BOXER will give Pac problems. Cotto isn't a boxer. He's a fighter that knows how to box. Huge difference. Cotto's ability as a fighter allows him to compete in just about every fight, but if he and Pac fight 10 times, Cotto loses 10 times because of simple things like making adjustments within the ropes and his lack of feints, angles, and variation of punches.

Keep in mind that even though boxing is the key to beat Pacquiao, he baits you into a brawl and make you trade with him.
So I say add discipline/patience to the list.

Cotto is right he shouldn't have engaged in the brawl but i think you have to give manny credit because it hink he kept coming forward and was on Cotto constantly so he had to. I'm a cotto fan as well.

Pac is just too fast and too powerful for Cotto. Cotto should forget about Pac and focus on the cheater.
