i'm a filipino and i do not agree with donaire's transfer to golden boy. and most of us pinoys does not agree either.

I'm sure Nonito and Rachel don't give a **** ass about what you think of his transfer to GBP. It's all about business.

how GBP win this one? Top Rank lost a cash cow? Donaire will never be a cash cow until he fights in a higher weight.! And its not even a guaranteed he would be a cash cow once he fight in a higher division. There is no money in a lower weight class. Donaire would be lucky to make $1 Million payday in the future. Pac was lucky enough to fight those Mexican warriors in a lower class that made him popular and a household name.

for now, its a good move, because it sets him up to fight the winner of the showtime tournament (Mares), but later on, when Donaire moves up and tries to fight someone like Juanama, he won't get the fight, cuz Juanma is with Top Rank.

i dont even care about Donaire's pomoter. but i still believe Donaire would make more money with Top Rank. Look at Cotto. he had 2 brutal losses and can still command few million dollars per fight. but to say Donaire win this one? i highly doubt it.
