yeah i know that. what im trying to get to is how can people think a 147lb fight between these two is fair. marquez's last fight was at 135 vs katsidis. his summer bout should be at 140 against someone. if he does good there, then he deserves at a shot against manny, but at 140. there's no reason to even think jmm can do good at 141+, we seen what floyd did to him....

Let me ask you guys a question.... which one is JMM's regular weight the night of the fight ?? In the Mayweather fight he got into the right with 148 pounds..... the same that Pacquiao against Margarito. Against Katsidis the day of the fight Marquez weighted 145.

So, let say the fight is at 147....When has Pacquiao come up with that weigh the day of the weighing ??

So *****s... that's the difference between facts, and haters like you...!!
Noob..... stop talking about fight-night weight, it is completely irrelevant.

This is an adult conversation, if you do not understand why fight-night weight is irrelevant, then go sit in the corner.

        And face the wall.

If by some miracle of the highest powers happened and Team Pac came out and agreed to fight JMM @ 140lbs, (not gonna happen I'm sure, but) would you be o.k. with the fight then? I'm just curious. What weight do you think would be fair to both fighters? Or do you even think they should fight?
The fight will happen anyway Lorily, regardless..... I just don't wanna see my boy get setup by those cherry-pickers.

1.) Marquez will fight regardless, on one leg if Pac demands it

2.) Team Pacquiao are well-aware of that, JMM has no leverage at all

3.) Even at 140, Pac will be a huge favorite, and will most likely win

4.) That fight has GOT to happen at 140, or Pac is a b1tch, because.....
FACT: Manny can easily make 140
FACT: That would be a much fairer fight
FACT: Manny would still be a red-hot favorite

So yep, I'm ok with that fight at 140.....

            * JMM deserves the payday

            * He's tough as hell, he can take it

            * Everybody knows that the outcome of that fight does NOT determine once-and-for-all who is "the best", as Marquez will just be a 38yo career-featherweight.

Much the same as a fight now netween Marquez/Morlaes would not determine once-and-for-all who is the best.

The people who are arguing that the fight should take place at 147 are not true boxing fan's. They are probably the same people who endorse the Maidana/Morales fight.

Thats ******. You clearly stated Pacquiao team has full leverage, why would they want to fight at 140lbs? Any incentives for that?

This fight is a giant waste of time. It ain't 2008 no more. Everything has changed and some delusional fans are content living in the past for some very odd reason. You can flip on youtube anytime you want, watch any fight you want, tell yourself anything you want, it won't change the FACTS of the situation.

Jmm will be lucky to make it 3 or 4 rounds with pac at this point. It's gonna be a one sided beat down and the money might not be worth it. Pacs not one handed anymore, the fight won't be anywhere near 135, jmm is 38 years old, oh and even when he WAS in his prime, At his prime weight, fighting a man just entering his, he couldn't stay off his ass and would have lost both fights if not for a simple judges scoring error.

Now, three years later, after seeing what pac is capable of at 147, after seeing how much his game has improved in such a short amount of time, after watching how fat and slow jmm looked against vacation boy, after jmm has gotten 3 years older, some how, some way, jmm is just supposed to jump in there and do anything other then get KTFO????? Man, u fools will buy anything... Come to think of it, I got this BAD ASS black unicorn that eats fire and ****'s thunder, I'm looking to get it off my hands. Just send ur check to...

They don't man, what the hell are you taking about ?

                      Pacquiao is demanding 147.

                      " Incentives " ?

How about you try reading the post that you replied to ?
