how would have Mosely fared against Margarito if he didnt need to break himself down to 147 and instead just make 150?

your question is actually irrelevant to the topic at hand...nice try tho

Mosley stopped the guy, his performance was near perfect, even his jab was perfect and that says alot . Pacquiao had a few bumps, got hurt and took him the 12, not to say that wasn't a gruesome beating either. Both displayed good offense though...

Yeah, weight drained just doesn't cut it.Margarito unified the title 6 months prior at welterweight & was defending at welterweight. When he fought Pacman,he was coming off a little more than a year.So being inactive & suspended sounds reasonably legit for not making welterweight. But after a career at 147,I don't see being weight drained against Mosley as accurate.

Although his mind may have been ****ed off getting caught red handed trying brick up on the underdog that was Mosley. But honestly,he gets absolutely no pass for that, but saying a welterweight champ is weight drained at welterweight is reaching in my opinion.

Mosley did something Pacquiao couldn't do.

          Knock him out.

Mosley looked really good. I had to re-watch it to be fair. I thought it was Pac easy at first thought . Not the case. Mosley's offense made Margs helpless. He had a good jab working and his difference in power made it easier to stop Margarito's pressure than Pac's could. I gotta vote Shane Mosley.

Mosley was physically stronger so he dominated because of that. Pac did it all off offensive skill, so he displayed the better offense.

taking out Margarito's state during the fight and defense of Pac & Shane, we are talking offense here, IMHO Shane showed more power but PAC showed more diversity and punch output I will put their offensive performances at par with each other...

IMHO the end result was also at par in brutality shane's KO breaking the granite chin and Pac's rearraging the aztec features to asian is as brutal as you can get...

although i am agreeable with this bro, I also consider strength and power as part of offense as a whole balancing skill and physical strength...

Be real here and put the bias aside. Whoever fought Marg that night will give him a classic display of offense. Marg was mentally destroyed when got caught by plaster beside obviously Mosley a mile bigger than Pac. If Mosley let us say 17lbs lighter that night and there is no plaster incident. I think the result would be a complete opposite.
