how do you think Margarito would have done against PAC if he had weight issues during camp AND had to come in at 147 instead of 150?

also, how do you think Margarito would have fared against PAC if he just got caught for plaster and that his career was about to be dumped in the toilet?
^^^^^ This... played a big part in Shane being able to roll through Tony.

Was going to bring out the issue with Margarito and his weight coming into the Mosley fight.. not to mention his mental stated after being caught with illegal wraps.. but didn't want to open up the flood gates. You did it tho..

dumped in the toilet=coming back fighting the #1 fighter in the world for a undeserving world title, losing, than fighting cotto for another undeserving title??

This is an easy question. Mosley landed the better shots of the two, took less shots and knocked Margo out. It took him like 40% of Pac's punches to do in 9 what Manny failed to do in 11 (I will say he could have put Margo out cold in the 12th. He stopped fighting for the sake of his health).

Just imagine if Pacquiao landed Mosley's shots. He would have taken Margo out in like 6 rounds.

How would Pac have done against Margo had he not been restricted with a 150 ctachweight.......

margs himself said the weight issue wasn't a problem in the 24/7 series with pac...but i think the finding of the wraps did play a part of his loss...regardless, mosley stopped him in 9 with knockdowns and no struggle. pac came out a bit bruised at the end of 12 rounds. still, mosley dominated in every which way...

That is irrelevant to the point Larry.. We are discussing the Mosley/Margarito fight. Tony was the very definition of weight-drained.. and got caught with illegal wraps with the probability of having his career ended.

i'm sure that's EXACTLY what was on his mind at the very moment, Larry

do you really think Margs would say 'im really having trouble making weight, im an unprofessional slob'?

go look for Eaner09...he has almost daily communication with Margarito and he was the one that mentioned the miscalibrated scale that his team was using...the scale they had was off a pound or two and forced Margarito to lose more than he had to...he even alluded to this right after the weigh in
