Well, first off Cotto ain't getting that rematch. Pacquiao isnt fighting at 154 and both Bradley and JMM are looking to get in bed with Arum in order to fight Pacman in November if Floyd doesn't step up.

Second, Margarito is going to destroy his ass even worse than the first time around in the rematch.

The man want's to face the 2 fighters that disfigured his face and you want to say his avoiding somebody that has not even touched him???
You have to give Cotto props to wanting to avenge his loses, even if you are a hater.

Martinez will not generate for Cotto what a rematch will facing Margarito or Pacman.
Martinez will want the bigger purse of the event and as a boxer, he probably deserves it, but as an proven PPV seller he does not. Cotto's fan base, sells and draw is bigger than Martinez even at this moment.

I want to see that fight to, however on the Pacman issue, besides PBF or Martinez at 154, i would rather see a Cotto-Pacman II at 154. with his new trainer and at his new weight, Cotto will improve by far hei performance if the 1st fight (not saying he will win). Cotto has giving Pacman the best competition of all the boxers out there and i can see anybody from 147 to 154 who can do better than that. Including JMM because there fight woukd be at 147 as per what Pacman's camp.

Mayweather might be around too. I'd rather see him fight him. If he's gonna go down that road. It'd have to be at 147 though.

A fight with Canelo would be huge, and it'll never happen. That'd be a big win to retire on.

Only stans would defend someone refusing to fight the REAL man @ 154... How do you justify fighting for the WBC belt and not fighting a top 5 opponent, let alone not being ranked at 154 yourself... thats why its called making weight rookie.. He will definatly get the Margarito rematch. And even if he wins I'm not so sure about the Pacquiao rematch at 154. PACQUIAO LITERALLY CANNOT MAKE 154. He is not gonna weight in at 144 and let Cotto weight in at 154 the day before the fight. Especially since Cotto only brings 250k PPVs to the table. If Cotto wants another career payday he needs to fight Pac at 147 take it or leave it.

And to all those saying Martinez will drop to 154 to fight Cotto, he wouldn't even drop to 154 to fight Drizurick. Martinez is a way smaller draw than Margarito and hes scared to rematch Margarito, he said it himself.

It's cool if he wants to fight Pacquaio but I'd rather see Miguel go out with a ****. I really don't think he can beat Manny. Beat the **** out of Margarito and then maybe a rematch with Shane would be nicer. Either way it will be hard to say goodbye to Miguel. I've enjoyed going all over the country to see him fight and watching him on tv. Great times with friends, great memories, a great fighter.

250k yet Mannys next fight did 600,000 less buys..... Don't kid yourself, Manny isn't that big of a draw.
