Actually read the damn question. Who is the more "skilled"
Not who fought the better opposition. Good god. By some of the logic on this forum, I guess "margarito" is one of the most "skilled" fighters ever.

Stylistically sergio outskill spacman and it isn't even close. Other GREATS who weren't that SKILLED include George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Henry Armstrong, etc.

Sergio shows his ability to counter, movement, ability to slip punches, fight in the inside, outside, and whilst moving.

Pacmans defense is NOT better than sergios (or more skillful). pacman unrelenting offense is his defense the majority of the time.. or just putting his gloves up.

His foot work is decent, moving in and out, but it isn't " ring generalship" like sergio uses his foot work.

Punch selection seems about even, although Sergio is more a precision punches off the start where as pacman is a combination puncher. The "skill" in their punching is subjective. I think sergios counter mind set shows sharp reflexes and timing which is more of a skill than pacquires combinations punching. Pacman is the result of hard work, big balls, and great conditioning.

The list goes on.. actually look at how they fight. Sergio is a more skillfull fighter than pacman. As is donaire.

When pacman drops his hands and slips punches, then talk to me.

    agree

Well he hasn't fought there in years so its hard to take anyone serious when they have made no effort to get back in mix at that division.

Let's say manny did face him. Manny destroys him, which is exactly what would have happened, all y'all dude would have complained that PWill was weight drained.

If Paul was serious, he would have went down, beat a belt holder, then issued his challenge. He didn't, which let me know he wasn't serious in the first place.
Well PW challenged Manny and he didn't accept so IF is irrelevant. PW had been fighting at 147 for the longest before he moved up. Face it top rank didn't want to put Manny in there with PW.

Cotto just struggled to put away granpa Mayorga. He will probably get pwned badly by Cheatto in the rematch.

How is Pwill a better fighter then Hatton..

When Pwill lost to Quintana and Martinez.

While Hatton lost to only Floyd and Pac..

I would also argue that Hatton has better wins then Pwill

Prime Cotto would have killed Mayorga, Clottey has never won a meaningful fight, Cheatto was easy pickings with his face first style. Mosley is the first opponent at WW that has the speed and technique to actually touch pac. At least in the first couple of rounds.

that has more to do than mayorga performing better than expected rather than cotto being a shot fighter though
