funny thing is, that most of you who think martinez has better skill prolly didnt even know who he was or follow him at the least before the 1st Williams fight. posers. now you judge by the pavlik fight, his 2 rds against Williams, and now against a good lesser known game smaller 154lbs euro champ. just look how good he'll look against Manfredo when they fight? lmbo

They are neck and neck but I went with Pac. They both break all the basic rules but Pacquiao is the lesser of two evils. He keeps up a pretty good tight guard when he uses it. Martinez gets hit with shots he doesnt see at times and Pac usually gets hit when he decides to. On the other hand offensively I lean towards Martinez because he has the most effective jab. Pac's jab is most of the time useless and left out to long. When it comes to basic skills I prefer defense.

Paul Williams is better than anybody Manny has fought at WW. The PW KO trumps almost every victory on Manny's resume.

It's funny Martinez hasn't even fought guys the caliber of Marquez, Morales and Barrera.

Pac would have destroyed guys like Pavlik, Pwill and Dzinziruk. in one night assuming they were the same size.

Well I believe Manny fought Hatton at 140. And Pwill is easily a better fighter than Hatton.

Pacquiao is one of the most physically gifted fighters I've ever seen. His speed and controle of body to hit from all angles is unbelieveable!

Right now Martinez is better than everybody simple because he is fighting everybody and not ducking. And the last three guys he beat, he beat them while they were on top. So there is no comparison IMO right now unless Pac KO's Mosley.
