Paul Williams Got A Gift Against Martinez : Confirmed

Two of the judges hilariously scored the first round to Williams. And these were the two who were supposed to be competent.

The 3rd corrupt judge who scored only 1 round to Martinez in the whole fight was closest to scoring round 1 correctly.

    Joke decision.

*Thanks to daggum for bringing this to my attention.

It was a controversial decision but it wasnt outrageous. It could have gone either way and it went to PW. I actually thought Martinez was fading in the later rounds.

It was a good fight but this is more about the judges who were clearly never going to score it for Sergio.

One round wouldn't have changed the scoring, and it doesn't matter anyway he got put to sleep in the rematch, who cares.

it was a close fight but that 3rd judge should never be allowed at a boxing event again, not even as a spectator. What was his name again? Van winkle or some ****?

No, two judges weren't biased, the two who had it a close fight. No defending the 118-110 though, that's simply inexcusable. I do think Sergio was robbed not because he clearly won the fight, but because that judge was simply not going to score it for him no matter how well he did.

The other 2 are just as bad for scoring the first round 10-9 Williams.
