You know what, take whether you like Rachel Donaire or not out of the equation - and look at what she is doing for Nonito. She is pushing him towards superstardom. She cut the strings with the family that were leeching his money and now she's told Arum to go eat a fat ****.

In a few months time Nonito will probably fight for a million dollar pay check and it will be all down to her. Damn, what's wrong with that?

his ticket to superstardom will come from juanma and gamboa. if he can beat these two, he will surely get it. also, why i don't see juanma and gamboa teams act like crybabies like the donaire's doing? and they are even bigger than nonito.

Truth there for sure. But from my point of view he just went from earning hardly anything (and handing everything over to the Dad) to getting mega pay. Something's going right.

I don't really think the opponents that can be presented for Donaire will be a huge difference compared to Top Rank, I think the one major difference will be more HBO dates as opposed to being stuck on Pinoy Power PPVs, which is a good thing because it lets more people see his talent.

Yooo.... at the end of the day..... Have to do what's best for your career. She made sense when she said Top Rank could have just put Donaire on Manny's undercards and help promote him to become a bigger star. I think Pac wanted to own him before he helped him. I think it is wise to go and make his own name in the sport. Bob Arum has a plan and I think he didn't want to be handling two Pinoy big money fighters. Keep one on the back burner OR Manny was just a lil jealous and wanted to be the only Pinoy getting it in. We really don't know but the reasons she's stated. Can't be mad at that.

Do agree that nonito should've been on some of manny's undercards though. You can blame koncz for that. But jealousy is a b*tch, no need to pass up future super fights with the likes of vazquez, gamboa, and juanma for steve molitor because 'we' weren't getting enough attention like manny.

While I do agree with you about not letting ya lady run the show. I have to side with her because Donaire has been on the shelf for a minute fighting guys he didn't want to fight but he did it anyway. Winning at that. He gets a big opportunity and he makes the best of it. Now he wants to continue that feeling plus get rich and successful by fighting the best and not more scrubs. How can anyone be mad at a boxer/fighter that wants the best competition? Atleast Top Rank had one fighter that was tired of fighting gimme's. I hear some blaming Donaire but who knows because Manny Pacquiao could have been the one having Arum **** on him because as I know very well in any industry where it is fame attached to it. People get a lil insecure when someone else comes on the scene that could be competition. This situation between Manny and Donaire is nothing new. I've been through it and saw it first hand.
