well, the donaires have legitimate greivances... but I dunno what GBP can get them other than a fight with mares... I mean bob has a good relationship with king so if agbeko wins, nonito would definitely get a shot.

if nonito is thinking long term, he'll want to fight juanma and gamboa, but then again, maybe nonito has no intention of moving up and fighting those guys and staying with top rank would kinda force him to fight them eventuallly.

but whatever... nonito is a mercenary and has no loyalty, but I could care less as long as nonito fights the best available competition.

This essentially sums up the whole issue between Top Rank and Nonito. He wanted some sort of emotional investment from Bob Arum and he simply wasn't getting it. The lack of quality opponents between the Darchinyan and Montiel fights finally broke the camel's back. Although Moreno is a class fighter ranked at number 2 at bantamweight, he simply isn't a big enough name for Nonito at this point. Agbeko and especially Mares are more lucrative opponents at this point considering their participation in the bantamweight tournament. If Nonito stays with Top Rank, the chances of getting both fights are relatively slim because of Arum's recent antics of keeping everything in-house.

People also need to stop criticizing Nonito for not considering possible match-ups with Gamboa and JuanMa because by the time their division settles out, it may be too late for Nonito to get a fight with either because they may look to move up themselves.

I might have to campaign harder for JuanMa and Gamboa to get more attention. LOL

I like JuanMa and Gamboa both should fight but they have to realize that when one of them loses what happens to them after that. I see JuanMa recovering from a lose to Gamboa since he got the Boricua fans. Gamboa not so much. I think Arum sees something from the two and equally tries to protect their careers. Sort of like how Margarito and Cotto took forever to meet up in the Welterweight division. So, please for the love of everything JuanMa and Gamboa don't leave TR. I wanna see you two go at it.

Oh, by the way, I don't really care where Donaire goes as long as he unifies the belt then I'm all good. Also, Gamboa, I see him going for a Super Featherweight belt and Lightweight belt. Whereas, JuanMa can go as high as Welterweight in his early 30s. So, to Gamboa and JuanMa keep winning and keep gaining experience your time will come.

on the rios-acosta untelevised stream, the broadcast crew interviewed donaire ringside, and he twice said that he feels he's small for 118...

Nonito is going to be a top star in boxing for many years to come. Arum and Top Rank really dropped the ball on this one.

You know what, take whether you like Rachel Donaire or not out of the equation - and look at what she is doing for Nonito. She is pushing him towards superstardom. She cut the strings with the family that were leeching his money and now she's told Arum to go eat a fat ****.
