This girl is blaming Top Rank for putting all their attention on Pacquiao. Oh man, she shouldn't have gone public with that. It makes her sound bitter because Donaire hasn't gotten the same exposure as Manny.

I can understand the things like adding him on an undercard, but Arum was trying to make the pinoy public buy two fights: Pacquiao and Donaire. The problem here lies in the fact that Donaire hadn't been given a big name fight since Darchinyan. Had they waited a little longer after the Montiel fight, Top Rank would've given him plenty of big names at super bantamweight and featherweight.

I can see Golden Boy giving him one or two big fights before his resume starts fading again.

edit: Btw I'm not totally against him signing with Golden Boy, but if it were only for a few fights. The other article here claims it's a multi-year deal. I wish him luck.

I just hope Nonito gets the best of this but I can't really see it with GBP now. TR could get him Lopez-Gamboa in the horizon. He was just starting to be known. tsk tsk tsk. I just hope he won't go the same route he made after the Darchiryan win.

He does not compare yet to Pacquiao. Pac was just lucky to get 3 Mexicans who are shoo-ins for HOF and possible ATGs in his division.

If competition is the issue, I doubt anyone could trouble him outside of Moreno at this weight.

Also, pacquiao is not facing A+ fighters for his last 3 fights. He made it mainstream after beating DLH. Nothing more than that.

Top Rank doesn't do it often, but they really dropped the ball with Nonito. Nonito is a fantastic fighter whose career stagnated the past three years. He should have been fighting the Mijares, Arces, Darchynians, and Montiels two years ago. I hope things get better for him with Golden Boy.

Do agree that nonito should've been on some of manny's undercards though. You can blame koncz for that. But jealousy is a b*tch, no need to pass up future super fights with the likes of vazquez, gamboa, and juanma for steve molitor because 'we' weren't getting enough attention like manny.

Time for these boxers to stop letting their wives control them and speak for them. Last time i checked it was nonito that knocked out montiel not 'we' as jin put it. Shane found this out the hard way, now he has to go into a meat grinder just to pay alimony and stay afloat.

Aint molitor with top rank. But i see what she is saying if its true. They want the big fights but arum does not want to deliver them at this instance. Intead he wants these fights to simmer and gain attention but like with the lopez gamboa he waits for ever and throws them in with bums. Donaire already had 3 years like that and now he doesnt want that to repeat itself
