The only way to beat pacquiao is to fight him where he lives- in the adrenaline zone, to take the fight to him and beat him at it and catch him while he's raging. Like Marquez and Morales did.

If you pair him against a defensive fighter, then that just gives him more chances to attack, which is what he's gonna do- for 12 rounds.

I seriously hope this is not based on the fact he lost to Margarito. Please tell me it isn't.

From a stylistic standpoint, TS has a point. Sergio is a boxer, so his chances of losing to another guy who moves and boxes are very low. A pressure fighter, if they are good enough, are what would give him the most trouble, like Williams in the first fight. Now Williams wasn't good enough to keep up with Sergio, as the rematch showed, but it somewhat proves the point.

Thing is, who is good enough to do that?

Williams wasn't good enough. The rematch proved that. I didn't say he was completely right, or that Sergio is weak against brawlers or pressure fighters, but just based on history and how styles typically match up a skilled pressure fighter would have a better chance of beating Sergio than someone who tries to fight the same way. That's why Williams was so successful in the first fight, despite the outcome of the second fight. Someone who fights like that has a far better chance of beating Sergio than someone like Dzinziruk who tries to box him.
