After Cotto not after Hatton. After Hatton, people thought Pacquiao was going to fight Bradley or some 140 pounder, the Pac-May craziness wasn't in it's prime yet, and Mosley wasn't crazy about Pac either. It was after Cotto. So let me see, where is it that your post makes sense? You're telling me that The Golden Boy from Ghana, Joshua Clottey, was more of a draw than Shane Mosley? Clottey was a low risk, high reward fight? A higher reward than Mosley?

Pay attention mayne, Mosley-Berto was signed and sealed at the time Pacquiao signed on to fight Clottey. Shane only became available AFTER the Earthquake in Haiti and Andre pulling out, which was AFTER Pac-Clottey was official. Get your facts straight.

And when Manny beats Shane so badly that his own family won't be able to recognize him and the fight is stopped, you clowns are going to have an awfully hard time convincing people that Pacquiao-Mosley would've been remotely competitive just a year- a year and 1/2 ago...

Who do you want him to fight that would outdo Floyd? Pac's made a career of beating Floyd at his own game.shane is the most profitable low risk fight out there. Who at 147 is left? I believe the 3 names tossed around were Berto, JMM, and Shane. JMM at 147 would be ****** and he would be criticized for blowing up a LW. Berto has no mainstream noteriety. Shane was the logical choice.

Are you all forgetting Shane called out Pac just a couple of months after dusting off Margo????????? We're talkin bout spring 09. He got less than a handful of fights left before he retires. His legacy is cemented. The 147 lb div is pretty much cleared. He's already said he's not going anywhere past 147. So whats left?Money. Make as much money as possible while you still can and at the same time avoid becoming RJJ or James Toney.

My gripe is that he beats fighters under unfair conditions and brags about it , he could have fought Bert or JMM or like I said Floyd by just agreeing to a simple test , to fight Shane now of all times and brag we want to out do Floyd is a joke thats very hard to swallow except for *******s , they dont care what Pac does he gets a pass and a pat on the back .
