I notice none of the people offering comments were even members here at the time. It's easy to go back and act like you knew Calzaghe was good when none of you even watched boxing at the time.

****, we know Tunney didn't watch boxing until after this fight. Why would he watch a sport with no good white fighters?

And don't act like you watched boxing back then because if you watch boxing and get on the internet, you always end up on this site.

even the British fans didn't think he was any good. I think Anorak was his biggest supporter and he just kept saying it was bad to write Joe off, not that Joe was a great fighter

yes, around the time Hatton was fighting Mayweather, Calzaghe beat Kessler (still don't know why anybody thinks Kessler is good when he hasn't beat ANYONE good his entire career), and Haye KO'd Mormeck

If Calzaghe wants to bring his meaningless WBO title to the table, he can challenge Lacy if he wants to, but if it doesn't take place in the states, no way Lacy should accept him as a challenger.
you can call him the man if you want right now...

but after november 15th you'll have to call taylor the man as I see him winning a decision over lacy...8 rounds to 4 rounds for taylor is my predicition.

Kessler is the man at 168
Lacy is not even in the top three.
