What are you talking about, Donaire is still under contract with Top Rank, if he wanted out he should've waited until the original contract was up in about a year. Now if hes career is stalled because of lawsuits it is no ones fault but Donaires for trying to go bail on a contract. Wth is top rank supposed to do? Pretty desperate move on GB part but then again they should be desperate.

why does goldenboy not wait for the contract to finnish so they wouldnt have to go through this again. dont they realize that this shady type of move helps no one.the fighter will stay inactive and there will be a further divide between the 2 camps.

Don King killed it a long time ago my friend,the sport we love is merely a shell of its former self,also remember you heard the same news about Pac a few years back and Arum found a way to get him back.

Regarding the Arum vs. GBP, that was different. Pacman signed a contract extension with Bob Arum and then signed another one after that with GBP. This time, Donaire got legal advice for a lawyer (and I am sure GBP was also reassured by lawyers) that Donaire was free in June. Donaire didn't sign a contract extension with Bob Arum and then run to GBP and sign another one. I believe GBP wins this battle...

Also, you can say whatever you want about Don King and I will agree with you but the one thing you cannot dispute is that he put on the best PPV cards ever. Bob Arum with Pacman and GBP put on one big fight and then give us crap. Don King, gave us Simon Brown vs. Maurice Blocker, Toney vs. McCallum, Trinidad vs. numerous opponents on Mike Tyson undercards. If Tyson was around today and Bob Arum was promoting him, we would get a Tyson fight and a bunch of crap. Don King is a scumbag, thug, and a crook but he gave us our money's worth with the PPV fights...
