chavez jr wants to fight alvarez, arum has offered the fight..too bad even chavez jr is seen as too risky for alvarez by that corrupt phoney de la hoya.

golden boy have no-one to blame but themselves for the top rank embargo on them. they instigated it by trying to tarnish pacquiao's reputation and career by accusing him of PED use in the Ring. the escalated it even further by suiing top rank for manny's money like the shameless greedy scumbags they are.

they have to take any bone top rank throws at them. everyone wants to see chavez jr vs alvarez. they need to stop babying that ginger freak and make the fight

If Canelo was with TR right now, he wouldn't even be allowed to sniff the ass hairs on Pac.

Arum is many things, but when it comes to identifying talent and appeal. The guy is visionary. The only way Canelo/Pac would happen under Arum's watch is if Pac is on an oxygen tank, ready to be out of boxing. Why would Arum risk a potential unlimited ATM machine in Canelo, for a short thrill of Pac? Pac right now would be the ginger out of him, thus making him a whole lot less marketable in the future.

Actually if Canelo was good enough Arum would have no hesitation putting him in tough fights against great fighters. That's how you build true stars, that how he's built his stars. He wasn't afraid to put Pac in a rematch with Marquez who was a bad style matchup, or match him with De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto who everyone figured would pummel him when those fights were first mentioned. Look at Cotto and Margarito and see how many great fighters Arum's put them in with. Look at Oscar's and Floyd's careers with him and without him and tell me their resumes weren't better when they were with Arum. Look at Juanma and Rios, he's already put them in tough fights so young to prove themselves. Definately would not have cotton-wooled Alvarez like De La Hoya is. We know Juanma and Rios are for real. We don't know how great Alvarez is, and it's probably gonna blow up in their faces once they match with a world class opponent without any experience against anyone that could test him.
