Comments Thread For: Merchant Reviews Thoughts on a Pacquiao-Alvarez Clash

Merchant and I discussed Alvarez in depth, talking of his future aspirations and just how serious his potential is. [Click Here To Read More]

Yes I did, Larry likes Canelo and praises him, but admits he has some work to do. Still, I don't see Canelo ever fighting Pac even a old 40 year ild Pac would destroy Canelo...he's a KO waiting to happen...i like the kid but if he dont get a better trainer that can fix those bad habits of his, he will get baddly hurt and KTFO.

Pacquiao has enough of Mexicans nobody left standing, Canelo v Berto should be the way to go.

They shouldn't be allowed in the same ring, I think Pacman would feel sorry for him....

merchant just expressed his fascination over canelo, who just beat a fighter past his prime ten years ago...

i think berto will teach canelo how to knock out an aging, over-the-hill fighter like lovemore n'dou...

They are really reaching here with this BS! Pacquiao would probably Hatton Alvarez. Alvarez is'nt really good at all. If this BS happens I will stop supporting this sport. I'm the biggest non profit promoter of this sport. I will dissapear if this BS happens.

I'm not knocking Canelo, but it's too soon for him to be even mentioned in the same sentence as Pac.

Funny Merchant made a very valid point, Alvarez is GBP, making the fight even less likely.

But if Canelo was with TR and had a title at 154, it would be a whole different story.
