I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet but I watched both fights and Cotto looked much better that Mosley did against Mayorga. The funny thing is people here were hyping Mosley after he beat Marg and forgot the ugly fight he did with Mayorga HELL SOME PEOPLE SAID MOSLEY WOULD'VE BEAT PAC AT THAT TIME now we have people saying Cotto looked horrible. The fact is Mayorga was MUCH MUCH bigger than Cotto and was in MUCH better shape than when he fought Mosley and wasn't that tired at the end.

Mayorga was not the same fighter by the time he fought Cotto, and that's coming from someone who's seen him fight his whole career. Mayorga wasn't turning into his punches and unloading with power against Cotto. He made the right decision, he doesn't have it anymore and need to retire.Comment

I'll take a wild guess it's because that fight was over 2 years ago.
Mayorga had something left when he fought Mosley. Mayorga was so so done when he fought Cotto.
Who in the hell hyped Mosley after that fight? Pretty much everyone pleaded for him to retire because he looked so bad.
People said Mosley would beat Pacqiauo after he destroyed the best current fighter at 147, Margarito. Because he actually looked impressive.Comment

So he just fought Mosley and then a bum journey man and you think he's shot??? He was the same fighter that fought Mosley but with a better training camp his stamina looked better this time. People were saying Mosley was impressive 'cause he Ko'ed Mayo with a second left but I think it was more of Mayo getting tired at the end.Comment
