I see a difficult yet successful fight for Cotto. He'll beat the snot out of that cheater.

And don't forget that Margarito cheated when he fought Cotto. His hand wrap was illegal. You can see the plaster on his hand wrap in the photos immediately after the fight with his gloves off. He was too busy smiling and celebrating and didn't realize his gloves were off and his illegal wraps was exposed. Don't take my word, just check it out for yourself. I think Cotto survives in a rematch because Margarito can't cheat again, and Pacquaio took a lot out of Margarito.

Cotto learned how to clinch. I think he had 2 clinch in the Mayorga fight. I remember one of them. He saw himself trapped and clinched.
He might fight the same way he fought Mayorga, Jab and when Margarito start throwing he will circle, but Margarito will be tougher than Mayorga.

The reason why Margo backed cotto up was coz cotto didn't sit on his punches. Cotto has enough power to keep Margo at bay.. People seem to forget that Cotto has dislocated shoulders, broken orbs, etc.. All that when he was weight drained.

I do think that clinching and sitting on his punches can and will make the difference. Cotto clearly has the boxing skills and speed to bob and weave around margo's assault as he showed in the first fight. This time the hand wraps shouldn't be an issue and after saturday, I think it's safe to say that Miguel can take a good punch as he assimilated Mayorgas punches very well.

Pac gave Marg one of the worst beatings in history, and that joker didnt go down at all. Cotto has power, but his power is not at the level of Pac. Mosley fight is the key for Cotto to win the rematch. Clinch is the key to winning this one and that is something that he needs to learn, the tactical clinch, not the "I am hurt" clinch.

Cotto outclassed Marg's for the first 6 rounds until the wear and tear of the handwraps warped him. Simple, no dirty wraps=a 12 round whitewash of Tony. Thats what the rematch will show.

This fight is going to be better than the first. But people are not realizing once you break that orbital bone it's a wrap. A fighter can never again endure punishment to that area of the face. Forever more Margs face will swell as fast or faster than Cotto's does now. There is a pretty good chamce that Cotto's uber efficient and powerful jab will blind Tony in one eye by round 10. Once that happens he can't see the left hook and it's goodnight folks. Plus Cotto doesn't have to drain himself to 147 this time, his stamina should be Ok.

That said, Cotto still can't defend the straight right (See Foreman Fight) cant defend the Uppercut (See Mayorga fight). 2 punches thy Tony throws in bunches.

You have no basis saying that Cotto's power is lesser than Pac's. They have different kinds of power. Pacman's is speed and catching his opponents by suprise and off-balance. Cotto is wear and tear with consistently heavy punches.

Also, comparing power of someone who has fought featherweights most of his career to someone who has fought welterweights is not logical.

not to mention that the fighters he has fought above 140 have been forced to make a some bogus catch-weight.
