true or false....sergio and floyd

it tell that corrales was not on the right state of mind when he got destroyed by floyd...also proves that it was hard for him to make weight...to make this thread simple, do you think floyd 's win over corrales is bettter than sergios's win over pwill?....yes or no, and why?.....
I have already answered your question;
Yes I think it's a better win.
I think it's a better win because Corrales was considered P4P #3, he was undefeated coming off 3 very impressive knockout's, and was considered #1 at 130 at the time.
The same can't be said for Paul Williams when he fought Martinez.Comment

But he asked for the fight at 130. An he went on to win a title at 130 3 years later, so Ariza saying 'he's growing into a bigger man' is clearly false.

corrales was an undefeated champion with a ninety something percent KO ratio coming off a string of impressive knockouts and was considered the best 130lber in the world. williams wasn't fighting at his best weight and had gone life and death with martinez and margarito and lost to quintana at that point in his career. i like pwill but he's always been over rated.Comment

He was considered #1 at 130.
Paul Williams has never been considered #1 for an extended peroid of time in any weight class he has been in unlike Corrales. He has also never been a Lineal Champion, unlike Corales.
Williams was unranked at 160 when Sergio beat him. Corales was ranked at #1 at 130 when Floy beat him.
The Corales win is better than the Williams win.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 03-14-2011, 03:15 AM.Comment
