I mean, what do you expect? Manny and Floyd can easily say no to this fight because they can. They've already done a lot in their career and have both been P4P#1 and P4P#2 for a very long time in the sport. Martinez is finally getting up there, but unfortunately he's two divisions bigger, not getting any younger, has a small fan base and earning smaller paychecks. Of course he's hungry for it.

[QUOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;10228681]WBC “emeritus” middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (47-2-2, 26 KOs) stopped previously unbeaten WBO junior middleweight beltholder Sergiy Dzinziruk (37-1, 23 KOs) in eight rounds on Saturday night at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Martinez received credit for a knockdown in the fourth, and then dropped Dzinziruk in round five, and then put him down three more times in round eight for the TKO win.

I understand Sergio wants to cash out before he retires, which will be soon. And he does deserve big money, but I think maybe he should start being more realistic. Cotto would work at 154-157, or call out the guys at 168. There can be big money for him with any of the Super 6ers, not as much as Pac or Floyd, but he can fight twice more this year if he wants.

I like Sergio but I really do think he's being over rated.
His best wins are over an also over hyped exposed Pavlik and Paul Williams.
I'm a big fan of the latter whom had a win over him, but they're both well over hyped and it's just transferred to Martinez.
Pac and Floyd would both beat him easily, even with the weight advantage he carries.

Dzinziruk should be very thankful for this chance.

calling out fighters who started in divisions south of lightweight doesn't make you a bad man.
it just makes you a gold digger.
Which real middleweight blows up just 10 pounds over night? a bantamweight blows up that much.
Martinez beat Pavlik, remember? a smaller man beat bigger man? the number one guy in the division?
Martinez should fight Wlamdimir cuz hes the same size

Pac is too small and would get hurt bad, mayweather still has the edge, specially speed, slight reach adv for sergio, mayweather has the better jab and footwork, he has the counter edge, sergio has the power edge, Floyd has the defense edge, since they both like to counter it could be boring, but sergio would become the aggressor which could goes his way or not. Floyd would be a 7:5 favorite, it would be one of the most competitive fights we could ever home for and it would sell sell sell. The fact sergio is a middle w is the only thing slowing the fight but may speaks money at will take any chance to beat pacs ppv numbers just my opinion . Let's just not get over excited and think Martinez just walks through anyone if serigy landed at 39%, which I think was a bit inflated then may can land. So let's forget about may - pac, its time for the real p4p 1 and 2 to fight (sergio #1)
