This was a good fight and a good performance by Cotto. Boxing fans are so bitter and angry about everything. Everyone's a 'bum/washed up/the sport is hurting yada yada yada. Two good main events tonight and people want to rip on Cotto for putting on an action fight.

It wasn't so much as disrespectful was it was his honest opinion. When you made a living out of decapitating grown men, you tend to have an easier time sharing your thoughts.

Regardless, do I completely agree with him? No. Mayorga is done, but Cotto could have a couple more fights left in him. However, it's still a valid opinion, considering that Cotto has seen better days and Mayorga even acknowledged it was time to retire.
