You're just butt hurt no one shares your sentiments - ones you only feel because you're probably a huge Cotto (or orga) fan or just dislike Tyson. The man gave an opinion and you attacked it. How immature can you be?

Then you argue age being the prime factor or when a fighter is or isn't past their best days in the ring. LOL!

Tonight we saw the serious Decline in yuri for whatever the reason may be, it's a decline. Be it his leg will never be the same or whatever the reason may be. The man is 30 and just looked like complete trash tonight and will continue to do so going down the line.

Age has nothing to with it. Brandon Rios is 22.. because of the way he fights his career would last much longer than 5 more years if he continues to fight 3 times a year. The same will go for Canelo who is extremely active, and only 20. So, when Canelo is 26 and shying away from punches and seeming unenthused in the ring (he's a title holder now... 6 years of stiff competition coming right up!).. Will you say there is no way he is past his best because he's still got 4 years to go until he hits 30?

Look, besides the fact that cotto is still young, and has under 40 fights lets look at his records.

2 loses. 1 loss to a guy with brick hands, the other to what many people call #1 p4p fighter in the world, who also weight drained cotto.

Looked not so great against clottey but hey clottey is tough to look good against, even pac couldnt hurt him badly.

I like Mike but what he said was so far frm what was actualy happenig. The fight was action throughout. He said they weren'ttrying to hurt each other. Please dont agree with Tyson just because he's the ultimate tough guy. Those guys were throwig haymakers early and Cotto did some excellent body work that paid off later. I guess he said that because Cotto didnt go running in when Mayorga invited him to the corner.

I understand where you are coming from 100 percent, I do. I just think you were easily offended by Tysons opinion - but I don't want to argue that because that's really a subjective discussion.

We can argue the prime situation though where many talent fighters with not to many fights under their belt found their careers cut short because of too many tough fights. I realize cotto has only lost twice but the 2 losses were very bad and he had it REALLY bad again'st Clottey.

He also fought and took MANY punches in a action packed fight against hard hitters Ricardo Torrez and Zab judah. All of these fights took a little something out of him.

To be fair, I think cotto has 1 big fight left in him before he should play it safe - depending on the type of fight it is of course.. and if he comes out unscathed or not.
