WTF is the Middleweight champion of the world doing calling out Welterweights (and one of them an undersized Welterweight at that)? This P4P hype has got completely out of control, it's just ******. Martinez should be clearing out his own division, starting with Sturm. Or if he wants a bigger challenge, he could fight Bute. But it's absolutely ridiculous that the World Middleweight champion only wants to fight people from much lower weight classes. Weight classes exist for a reason, and if he really wants to fight Welterweights, especially undersized ones, he should boil down to 147.

How does Sergio's resume not compare to Manny's. Pac is great and no one should deny his greatness but compare his last few opponents with the kind of fighters Sergio has faced and you'll realize that Sergio's competition is far better than Pac and Mayweather's.

we all should believe Manny is great because he is but let's stop pretending that the title at 154 was something special. Manny went up to fight Margarito, a suspended fighter who got caught trying to cheat and still got knocked out for a vacant title and didn't even stay at 154 to defend his title. That's why people bring up Pac's name because Sergio was the real champ at 154 and wanted to move down and take on Manny but for some reason Pac can't fight at 154 anymore.

of COURSE some boob would try to say "sergio is better then manny!" after sergio's impressive performance. Thing is, Sergio is still 5-6 fights removed from fighting a guy that was like 5-36. Before Sergio fought Cintron, he literally had ZERO decent names on his resume (well, bunema is an ok journeyman). Lol, while manny was finishing up his trilogy with one of the greatest fighters of the past 3 decades or so, sergio was fighting for 200 dollar paychecks in spain. sergio needs to do a HELL of a lot more to be anywhere near pacquiao in greatness. oh yeah, he's also about 40 pounds heavier then pacsmash as well. respect serg for what he's done, and respect manny for what he's done. if they fight, im down! if not, im not gonna hold it against manny. that would be like us calling martinez a ducker for not fighting somebody who walks around at 210 pounds.

talking about careers, of course Manny has Sergio beat and he has Mayweather beat also but Sergio's last two years have been better than anything Manny and Mayweather has accomplished in the same two years.
And when did Pac become this great icon that he has become? Was it when he fought Morales, Barrera and JMM? No. It happened when he moved up to WW fighting good guys but not guys as good as the guys Sergio has fought.
Again, its not fair to say Manny is scared to fight Sergio because Sergio is too damn big but Manny made himself look bad by moving up and winning a phony title.

pac has beaten...barrera, morales and marquez......
do the math....
pacs last opponent margarito and his opponent on may 7 mosley is not as impresive...but i think pac earned it...he wants money fights now before he retires...just like the way sergio is calling out welters..he wants to cash in before call it quits...

I said as of recently Martinez last 3, trumps pacs last 5, that's the truth, I'm not talking back in the day, nor am I talking overall resume. Secondly Martinez wants to fight the best and that is may and Pac, regardless if they are 2 weight classes under him, Martinez fought a great fight, was able to adjust and take.back over after a bad 6,7. He has shown he deserves to be #1 p4p. that's all I'm saying. If Pac completely destroys Mosley he would probably take back over, then again ring will probably only put Sergio.above may due only to mays absence.
