The Canadian posters have a **** fit everytime somebody says anything remotely negative about Bute.

Bute is afraid of a challenge, that's why he completely blew off the possibility of fighting Jean Pascal before Pascal had signed to fight Hopkins.

Bute-Pascal would have been huge in Canada and the fight is only going to decrease in value when Pascal gets his ass kicked from start to finish in the rematch with Hopkins.

Pascal is tailor made for Bute and Bute still didn't want a piece of a guy who is actually physically smaller than Bute despite the fact that he fights in a higher weight division.

It's a well known fact in the lounge that Gorilla Dogs socks got so ****stained from stomping on Lucian Bute's resume all day long.

I like Bute more than Pascal. I've never cared for Pascal even though he does take real fights. If Dawson woudn't have had his typical case of JoshuaClotteyitis he would have schooled Pascal for 12 rounds. He lost to Hopkins, and will lose the rematch.

That is how he won his mando position by getting ko'd.

Pascal is a dip**** and I don't like the way he fights but I have no doubt he would happily sign to fight Bute.

Bute, on the other hand, has no desire to fight anyone with any real athletic ability. If you look at Bute's resume it's actually a quite comprehensive list of guys who love to block punches with their faces.

Magee is not a tomato can, he is a borderline top 10 fighter in a deep division. I understand the frustration with Bute but there really wasn't anyone else to fight right now and Magee is decent. I do think that Showtime is overpaying for this and they should have a TV undercard fight (they should show St. juste v Zuniga but won't).

Bute runs out of excuses if he doesn't fight Kessler, Dirrell or one of the losers of the S6 semi's next.

Yeah, as someone else said, the deal that Bute is apparently signed to makes Berto-Hernandez look like money well spent.

I'm just waiting for that 'BatteredKessler' moron to show up. After every Bute fight he makes a thread claiming that Bute is set to fight a legit opponent next, and then when it ends up being Brian Magee he has a list of excuses for why it's everybody else's fault.

Bute will be sure to secure his next opponent asap after the Magee fight just in case Kessler, Dirrell or the Froch-Johnson loser calls him out before it gets signed.

Dirrell, nor Kessler will even consider going to Montreal.

The onus is on Bute to agree to leave Montreal for a neutral venue to make a meaningful fight happen.

I would bet $1000 Bute doesn't fight Kessler or Dirrell next, or the fight after next.

He's just sitting around waiting for a shot at the Super 6 winner to drop into his lap. He's not gonna go out and earn it when he can fight guys like Magee in his backyard for 2 million bucks.

Oh yeah, I can't wait for Battered Kessler to show up to tell me that he is better looking than Zsolt Erdei or some other bull****.

Bute's next opponent will be Jean Paul Mendy (it's my mandatory, sorry boxing fans) and after that he will probably fight Curtis Stevens.

You're right about him securing these fights ASAP, in fact I fully expect Bute to announce he will be taking on Mendy or Stevens in the post fight interview after he beats Magee.

A neutral venue would bring a lot less money for all involved. If all these guys wanted to fight each other the fights would take place in Montreal. But I do question the motivation for all of them, even a warrior like Kessler, they will all look for easy money.

Dirrell is a non-draw and is hated by both the media and fans, he won't have any leverage.
