LOL complain complain complain you people hate canelo so much you are to ****** to realize this is exactly what you wanted. For him to fight the best in the division. Well Angulo and Williams are 100% likely to be fighing each other for the shot at the title so what the *** are you complaining sinceyou think either one of these fighters would beat canelo. I agree with you 100% but the haters are going to hate and what is a super star with out them??! There still in shock that this lil kid, only 20yrs old can generate much more of a buzz then the Margaritos, Marquez, Cottos or anybody else not including Pac or May. seems decent but i would prefer james kirkland in the tournament instead of paul williams, and plus a 4 man tournament will be a bit too long to determine who can face alvarez for his first or other title defences (thats if he stays a champion for a while) but tbh out of all of them i would like to see Alvarez-Angulo for his first defence that should be good but i would like to congratulate alvarez the kids a champion at 20 years old but gets waaay to underrated and criticised for his comments against other boxers like JMM for e.g.

I was thinking the same thing! This is a set-up by the WBC so Canelo won't have to fight any of them for at least a year. This way, he can keep the title fighting unworthy challengers and make the WBC lots of money before being possibly exposed by the elite of the division. And their thinking is he will get better as these fights progress so to make him ready for the challenges ahead. I kept saying in other posts how were they going to protect Canelo while defending his title and this is exactly how it's going to be done. Must be good to be in bed with both ODLH/GBP and the WBC.

You know what I think? I think that people who hate on Canelo don't want him to have a chance to get better because if he can improve his defense and overall boxing skills what are people gonna have to call him a fake or a hype job when it becomes obvious that he isn't?

I guess no one would have been complaining if Canelo wasn't just given the ****ing title against an unranked JWW just like Manny was b4 him. The deserving guys like Rhodes n Angulo should have fought for it true, but we all know belts don't mean **** ne more with these corrupt bastards running things. Now the best guys in the division are still gonna fight...and the winner gets to fight Canelo for the title. It's not ideal but we still get good fights n a champion in the end.

Now what I really wanna find out is if Canelo will even take the challenge when the time comes or will they find a way to baby him some more
