Wow!!!!! I'm veeeeeery pleased that Mexicans are objective and are voicing their displeasure for the Canelo farce. Mexican fight fans really are the best in the world! I've actually been asked many times by other Mexicans when a Mexican is fighting a non-Mexican "who are you going for?" This is very exciting news for me and makes me feel very proud of my people!

Martinez is better, but that doesn't mean that Williams isn't better than every one of those guys mentioned in that potential tournament. I mean really who the heck have any of those guys beaten? Angulo got completely outclassed and out boxed by Cintron of all people.

I'm both Mexican, and Jalisience and I'll be the first to tell you that Canelo's a solid prospect in the process of being ruined goods over a BS publicity stunt. If you ask me, all the solid talent that's better qualified for the title than Alvarez should boycott the WBC, and seek a title elsewhere... Prove to everyone that Canelo's title is a joke and maybe get him to actually work his way up the ranks like everybody else

WBC pretty much just gives teh title away to teh ginger, now they want these fighters to go threw hell, just for a shot at teh title? While all of 'em probably deserved a title shot much more than teh ginger did, What a ****.

Rhodes was supposed to fight Konecny on the mag 7 card but pulled out and he gets passed over again.

Both Angulo & Kirkland can clear out 154lbs.No one at 154 can go against the pressure these guys put on.

Konecny, Lara, Baysangurov are guys i'd like to see fight those two and Guerrero to drop to 154 too.

Ugh so what 20 year old isn't moved up in the exact same fashion? You act like there are hundreds of 20 year old prospects ready to fight Angulo and Williams. How convinient that Canelo is the one who gets singled out.

It's the fact Canelo doesn't deserve to be champion, period. So they give him the belt and make the best guys fight each other for a shot at a paper champion. And who makes all the money off of this. The WBC rakes in on the 20 year old title shots against nobodys and the real deserving challengers get screwed. I have nothing against Canelo, he is just doing what any one of us would have done. It's the b*ll**** everyone else pulled to give him a belt and now to make him not defend it against anyone worthwhile for over a year is horrible. And if Canelo has a belt, how can he be a prospect anymore? So you are saying it's okay to give prospects belts and not have to defend them against anybody any good. Wow, you are not a true fight fan, just a moron...

Thats nice and all but the belt still doesn't change the fact that he is still a 20 year old fighter. And lets be realistic he didn't ask for the fight to be for a title Golden Boy is the one who lobbied for that. Why? More money obviously! It makes him more marketable. The thing is eventually he's gonna have to fight top level opponents im just saying is why are you so obsessed with it being right now? Maybe because you wanna see the kid lose and you don't want to be proven wrong? maybe becasue if he has time he can fix the holes in his game and then you wont have anything to criticize him with?

All of the top contenders are done fixing their holes FOR YEARS, paid their dues and has been squatting at the top of the WBC's super welterweight division, waiting for their chance to fight for the belt. Then this ginger boy gets a pass fast like he was in Disneyland, passing everybody up in front of the line, won the belt like it was just raffled off for ****s and giggles, and you want us to take it easy on him? WTH?!?
