True. Helenius isn't afraid to take a risk.

This is the kind of matchup we need more of in the HW division.

Chris Arreola is fighting again on May 14, hopefully he too will take on another contender.

          Yes.

Huck-Fragomeni isn't an interesting fight at this stage of Fragomeni's career.

But I'm excited about Helenius vs. Peter.

I would have watched it anyway.
Im too big of a hardcore fan.

But now theres a fight you can look forward to which is not that predictable.

I like Helenius, but I say Peter puts his lights out.
if Helenius somehow manages to outpoint him, I would give him a lota credit. He would be a top 10 heavyweight.

Whats the rush? I figured ten more fights against domestic fighters a c-level European guys before he jumped in there with someone like Sam.

Granted, Peter did lose to small ass Eddie Chambers (in a fight I did not see), so maybe Helenius thinks he will be able to handle him. Robert is 27, so I guess he thinks it's time to jump in with a big-name fighter if he wants a title shot by the time he's 30.

Personally I think he should have held off. If he wanted to step up, it should have been against Travis Walker or Jason Estrada. By fighting Peter, it's almost like he just leapfrogged about 10 fights.

If Peter is in shape, he will KO Helenius.

Surprised at the poll results. maybe people just dont know Helenius?

I think Peter is ripe for the picking. whatever he once had has been ripped away from him by the Klitschko beatings, on top of of the overall punishment hes taken in his career such as from McCline and Chambers.

I expect Helenius to deal with Peter much like he did with an end of career Brewster, although Peter might go the distance.

Hopefully Helenius by KO, would be great for Finnish boxing.

Edit: Made my own thread for this fight a couple of days ago, since it woke up a bit of nationalist in me, especially when I read it will be shown on Finnish national TV for free.

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

Also includes poll, with an extra option "Finland Sucks".
