And considering Hatton was brought in for Saul to look good and dispose of and didn't, he's earned the right to get a fight at WW.

Sure Hatton lost every round, I'm not dis*****g that but considering he was simply brought in to make Saul look good and (hopefully) get the KO and didn't give him someone at WW, as I said he's not world class but at least give the guy a crack at WW belt or one of the top guys, he's done all the right things since the Watson fight in May 2008.

I don't think Pacquiao and Margarito deserved to fight for the JMW title at a catchweight, but if you're comparing them to CANELO and HATTON's case, ****! At least Margarito has won three world champions, has fought at JMW before, and I don't even need to explain Manny. What has Canelo done to earn that title and especially a bum fighter like Hatton who is nowhere near the top of any list.

I agree. His 'Jr Middleweight' Title is ridiculous.

Why are you telling me this?

So based on the fact since he got dominated by Watson who was coming off a loss he has beaten some average fighters and got a draw with an average fighter and losing every single round against a 20 year old prospect he deserves a title shot?

How about he actually beats a top 10 fighter at 147 before he gets a title shot at 147? How about actually DO SOMETHING in your career before you get a title shot at 147?

You just said he's NOT world class, and your absolutely right. He is far from being close to world class. So why should a fighter who has shown time and time again he isn't world class get a title for a World title?

There is literally no logic in this argument at all.

Obviously, promoters, HBO and the WBC are in it for the money. If a fighter can sell enough tickets and PPVs, he 'deserves' a title shot.
